I’ve been slowly cutting back on the number of ARCs I accept and leaning more into ALCs 🎧 I have a tonnnn for August and September that I’m slowly working through and will be posting ratings for soon!

It’s my birthday! (Well, my bookstagram birthday 🥳)
Amies.Books is officially TWO YEARS OLD today! WHAT??
It’s so crazy that all it took was recommending .sager ‘s The House Across The Lake for me to get hooked. Now I’m reading more books than I ever thought I could and have made so many new friends in the process❤️

(In all honesty, I thought my book bday was later this month so ignore the bad photoshop job on the couch 😂 these were taken during the topical storm behind a couch… with a cake that I might have sat on 🤣 )

what’s the last book you purchased?

I was SHOCKED whe I realized I held on to a gift card for from my birthday and didn’t spend it! So when I was back home for the weekend, we had to stop by and get some new books! (I also had a target gift card so we stopped by to use that up as well lol)
