Supports added for Wollongong and Brisbane!

Joining the Wollongong lineup is doing a solo set. Their excellent 2023 record ‘Things to say at a barbecue’ exhibited frontman Troon Lienad’s melodic sensibility and gathered high praise from around the world.

Also excited to have (Mess Esque/ Requin) added to the bill in Brisbane. Keeley’s brutal narrative structures interplay with melodies that linger down hallways all too familiar.

LLR012 - People Mover ‘Cane Trash’ is out today!

Shaped by the Queensland heat permeating throughout childhood homes and share houses, ‘Cane Trash’ captures the messiness of being in your twenties through melodies that stick like a seatbelt in summer. It’s an unpolished portrayal of pushing through pessimism, and the guilty struggle between holding on and letting go of distant memories.

“For me I think it’s fun to write songs that are a bit distressed lyrically, and cheer them up through the instruments,” says Lu. “Maybe they’ll help someone else who’s trying to figure out their highs and lows.”
