⛱️Sinquerim Fort was constructed in 1612 and overlooks the beautiful Sinquerim Beach. The magnificent fort was used as the reference point for goods arriving from Europe. Also, it was used to guard the territory from the Dutch and Marathas.

⛱️Operating Hours

MONDAY-SUNDAY : OPEN 24 hrs

⛱️The main intention of building the fort was to guard Goa against the Dutch and the Marathas.

⛱️The fort served as a reference point for vessels coming from Europe. On the right hand side of the fort lies the Taj Holiday Village resort, which is well known amongst tourists.

⛱️In the distance one can see the Candolim beach and the river princess stranded amongst the waves.

⛱️Between the Taj holiday resort and the lower fort lies the Sinquerim beach.

⛱️ One can find many tour operators here who conduct waters port activities such as jet ski rides, paragliding and dolphin tours. On the left hand side of the bastion is a fortified wall and rocky outcroppings.

⛱️Harvalem Waterfall, Goa, also known as Arvalem Waterfall, has some mesmerising views, covering a height of 50m and an average width of 7m. It is the second most famous waterfall in Goa.

⛱️The falls are located in Sanquelim, North Goa. It has been reviewed as one of the world’s most notable and blissful waterfalls there ever is. You can find a great view of the precise nature of the falls.

⛱️People enjoy picnics and swimming here. Many movies are shot at these two locations making it a huge draw for tourists. Tourism is the main source of livelihood for the people in this place. So, shopkeepers and people here are very helpful in telling the ways.
