Father, You are wise and loving. I ask that You grow me in the knowledge of Your ways, so that I may serve You more faithfully. As I meditate on Your word and the example of Jesus, help me to discern the mind that compels his humble acts of love and grace. Work in my thoughts, so that I might conform my mind to Yours. The more you meditate on God's loving kindness, the more you realize how good a Father he is. Every day, when we fellowship and communicate with God, we are exposed to another level of who He is. God's love compels us to give Him praise because that is what we ought to do.

We call out to the Lord in moments of weakness and despair! We know He is always present and listening; His heart breaks when we feel shattered and broken. God was there before we asked for help and knew what we needed before we did. He is dependable and will never forsake us at any point in time. We rejoice in gladness, lifting praises to Him name; He has always been an awesome God.

It is natural for us, as human beings, to come up with plans, thoughts, and goals for the future. But we need to realize that God is the only one who truly knows what's best for us. When you have plans you would like to make, or actions you need to take about a particular decision, make sure that you go to God first. God's plans will always outlive any plan we come up with for ourselves.
