Life has a way of knocking the wind out of us. Sometimes it’s a betrayal we never saw coming, a loss that feels unbearable, or the lingering weight of past wounds we thought we’d buried long ago. These moments leave us gasping for air, silently asking, “Lord, will I ever breathe freely again?”

This journal was birthed out of my own journey through pain, trauma, and healing. I know what it feels like to smile for the world while your heart is silently bleeding. I know what it’s like to carry burdens you don’t talk about, the kind that keep you awake at night, questioning your worth and wondering if you’ll ever truly heal. And I know the courage it takes to face those hurts head-on, to walk with God through the process of restoration, and to finally exhale the pain you’ve been holding inside for far too long.

Breathe Again isn’t just a journal, it’s an invitation. You will step into a safe space with God where you can confront your pain, release what has been weighing you down, and begin walking in the freedom He has already promised you. This is not an easy journey. Healing rarely is. But it is worth it. And you won’t walk it alone, your Heavenly Father will be with you every step of the way, guiding you into His peace, His joy, and His abundant life.

It never ceases to amaze me how God will bless you. I put things in place for a journal company in 2022, and doors kept closing, things were moving so slowly, but I kept writing.
I am sitting at my desk at work and this young, ambitious young lady I have had the pleasure of praying through some hard times and situations in her life calls my cellphone and the first thing she says is, "I got you." I didn't know what she was talking about. She asked me, "What are you working on now? I thought she meant on my job, She said, "No, what are you working on for you?"
I told her I was updating my latest book in my company, Sacred Place Journals: Points to Ponder. She said, "Why didn't I know about these journals? You gotta do a launch party; nope, I gotta do a launch party. Because you poured into me when I was in a dark place, I will absolutely do this for you, and I believe God will bless what you are doing. You reintroduced Jesus to me and I will be forever grateful. I will do this for you." She ABSOLUTELY BLESSED MY LIFE!!
At the end of service this past Sunday, I took my proof copy of my book Points to Ponder to the altar. I kneeled, prayed, and thanked God for the millions of people who will read this book, the journals, and the two books I am now writing on forgiveness and spiritual accountability.
As I left the altar, Tuvatta Howard saw the book, recognized it from my Facebook post that it was coming out, and asked me, "Are you doing a book signing?" I told her I never thought about it. I just let it go, and today it comes back to me with a willingness to work and finances.
Funny, some money in my hand, and then something happened and the funds are being withheld. So that money was withheld from me, and then God proved to me that what he orders does not matter if I don't have the money. His word is true - Pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give unto your bosom.
So Tuvatta Howard looks like I will need your catering company to do light hors d'oeuvres for my soon-coming launch party!!
