NPP members allegedly poured acid in the presidential jet for Mahama’s use. – Kweku Owusu Banahene Alleges.

Government spokesperson Kwaku Owusu Banahene has accused the previous NPP administration of deliberately endangering President John Mahama by sabotaging the presidential jet.

Speaking on Angel TV, Banahene alleged that acid was poured on vital pipes of the aircraft to corrode them, yet Mahama was still pressured to use it.

He claimed this was part of a wider plot against the President Mahama.

His remarks follow the recent Z9 helicopter crash that killed eight people, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and other top officials.

I spoke foolishly because I was hungry. – Akwasi Nyarko responds after crash remarks.

Ghanaian gospel musician Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko has issued a public apology after initially celebrating the Obuasi helicopter crash, which claimed eight lives.

In his earlier video, Nyarko blamed the incident on what he called the “ungrateful nature” of the NDC, claiming he had sacrificed for the party during their campaign but received no support in return.

He even alleged that his curses, along with those of others, contributed to the tragedy.

However, in a new video, the Kumasi-based musician, kneeling and visibly remorseful, admitted his previous statements were “nonsense” made out of hunger and frustration.

He apologized unreservedly to former President John Mahama, Ashanti Regional Chairman Nana Akwasi, and other NDC officials, saying, “I eat my words… hunger is not a good thing.”

I’m the hero, and I’ll return even stronger. – Wontumi FM host speaks on Mahama crash allegation.

Kofi Asare, a presenter at Wontumi FM, says he remains unfazed after being arrested for alleging that President John Mahama and other NDC leaders were responsible for the Obuasi helicopter crash that claimed eight lives.

In a viral video, Asare, handcuffed and escorted by police, defiantly declared himself a “hero” and “strong like the elephant” of the NPP, expressing confidence that he would soon be released.

The arrest followed his public call for victims’ families to hold the NDC accountable, remarks that reportedly angered party executives.

Sources suggest that following the incident, Wontumi Radio has decided to part ways with him.

I’m going to repeat what Fante Comedy did, so the NDC should prepare to arrest me. – Ellen Ama Daaku Dares NDC Over TikToker’s Arrest

NPP communications team member Ellen Ama Daaku has boldly told the NDC to be ready to arrest her after condemning the recent arrest of Ghanaian TikToker Fante Comedy.

Speaking on Wontumi Radio, she argued that the TikToker committed no offense to warrant such action and suggested that if anyone should be interrogated, it should be the guest who made the controversial statements, not the host.

Ama Daaku stressed that she frequently hosts TikTok live sessions and cannot be held responsible for comments made by others during them.

She even vowed to go live again and allow similar remarks just to see how the NDC would respond, questioning why the focus is on the host instead of the actual speaker.
