🇺🇦 Mykhaylo Mudryk statement.

“After a long battle, the four-year ban that was imposed on me has been rescinded and I am free to resume my career with immediate effect.

I am grateful that this process has reached a conclusion, that I have been cleared to return to football and that I can now look ahead to my future.

This has been the most difficult period of my career.

As I have always maintained from the outset of this case, I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any banned substance. My commitment to competing fairly and representing my club and country with professionalism and integrity has always been important to me.

I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and belief throughout this period.

I also want to express my deep gratitude to everyone at Chelsea FC, my teammates and the Chelsea supporters who have been with me throughout.

I would also like to thank my legal team and others who assisted for their tireless work on my case.

My focus now is on returning to football, working hard every day, and making a positive contribution on the pitch.

Thank you to everyone who continued to believe in me. I look forward to the next chapter of my career”.

FA statement on Chelsea.

"A financial sanction of £10 million and a suspended two-window registration ban have been imposed on Chelsea FC for breaches of The Football Association [The FA] Football Agent Regulations, Regulations on Working with Intermediaries and Third Party Investment in Players Regulations.

"The FA charged Chelsea FC with 74 breaches of FA Rule E1.2 after its current ownership self-reported misconduct upon its purchase of the club. The FA is continuing to investigate individual misconduct arising out of this case.

"Chelsea FC admitted to the 74 breaches of FA Rule E1.2 prior to a hearing and an independent Regulatory Commission imposed a six-point deduction, which was to be suspended until 30 June 2027, and a £10 million fine.

"The club appealed against the suspended points deduction and an independent Appeal Board allowed the appeal and set aside this sanction following a further hearing. In its place, the Appeal Board imposed a registration ban for two complete and consecutive transfer windows which is suspended until 30 June 2027.

"The £10 million fine imposed by the Regulatory Commission was not subject to appeal and the full amount will be invested into grassroots football."

Patrice Evra on the type of players INEOS want at Manchester United:

🗣️ “When you actually think about it, maybe INEOS aren’t wrong when they say they only want players who truly want to play for Manchester United.

Take Harry Maguire for example.

When he was going through the toughest period of his United career and was being pushed towards a move to West Ham, he said:

‘I’ll never leave Manchester United. I only want to play here because this is the club I love and the club I want to fight for. If they think I’m not good enough, I’m ready to sit on the bench while I keep fighting for my place in training.’

Now compare that to Alejandro Garnacho.

After playing just 20 minutes in the Europa League final and feeling it wasn’t enough, the message coming out was that he only wanted Chelsea—or he would stay at Manchester United and sit on the bench all season.

Both players faced difficult situations.

One said he would stay, work harder in training, and fight for his place.

The other wanted Chelsea.

Today, Harry Maguire has proved everyone wrong.

He earned a contract extension because he never stopped fighting for the badge.

Maybe that’s exactly the type of mentality INEOS are trying to build this new Manchester United around.”
