I am so tired of this narrative. This is pushing the idea that people need to be passive, soft spoken or water themselves down. SURE, there are ways to say things, but sometimes your feelings are just going to be hurt because : WORDS have the ability to hurt BUTTTT They also have the ability to heal.

I challenge you all to stop taking everything so personal this week. Take what people say with a grain of salt and move forward. We are prioritizing our mental health now and forever more.

Skin care is one of those things that is simple BUT complex!

Here is the morning skin care routine complete from start to finish. DRY SKIN EDITION. Obvi, I put some of MY favs as well as America’s favs on here.

1. Using a gentle cleanser is KEY. Cream or oil based cleansers are best for DRY skin.

2. Use a hydrating toner to enhance hydration, prep your skin and also balance your skin’s pH.

3. Use hydrating serums. Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Squalane, etc.

4. Moisturize!!!! And use moisturizers that will help strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier.

5. Use a facial oil to seal it all in. Vitamin C, Vitamin E.

6. Sunscreen- BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN is just my favorite, hands down. Gives you that GLOW.
