2025 brought a wave of ambitious film projects that allowed me to deliver some of the most focused and impactful mixes of my career.
I mixed a diverse slate across the USA, the UK and Australia. Crime, drama, thriller, mystery, documentary, character work, remaster work. Each film pushed my craft, sharpened my instincts and reinforced my voice as a storyteller through sound.
Here is a selection of the films I mixed this year in the order they will appear in the poster carousel:
• Beautifully Broken People
Directed by Sonny Corona III. A vivid and dangerous love story shaped by crime, loyalty and the chaos that follows a heist gone wrong.
• A Night to Remember
Directed by Michael Kelly and Creighton Smith. A stylish mystery following a woman piecing together the dark consequences of a wedding night blackout. Multi festival recognition.
• The Dark Wyoming
Directed by Ben Scantlin and Jerry Shandy. A tense character driven thriller centered on an online personality with a hidden darkness.
• We Fall Apart
Directed by Charles Hlangabeza. A grounded and emotional drama about a couple pushed to the edge by financial pressure and the realities of raising a child in hardship.
• Beyond the Whistle
Directed by John Cooper. A UK documentary offering rare access into the world of elite rugby league referees and the dedication required to operate at the highest level.
• Room 69
Directed by Trudy Sargent. A story of desire, secrets and danger unfolding behind closed doors.
• Riding Hood
Directed by Dwight Mathis. A bold modern parallel to the classic tale blending addiction, violence and a young girl fighting the monsters created by her environment.
• You and Moi
Directed by Fabian Olive. A chaotic confrontation between two longtime friends after an unexpected delivery pushes their relationship to the limit.
• Girl Cottage
Directed by Steve Morris. A 1998 Australian coming of age film, newly remixed for a fresh 2025 release.
Some of these films have already screened to great response. Others are on their way. Together they shaped this year into a defining chapter in my work as a re recording mixer.
Audio post is more than precision. It is emotion, scale, tension, clarity, presence and silence used with purpose. It is the craft I bring to every story.
Thank you to every director and team who trusted me this year.
On to the next chapter.
