Episode 5 is out today!! Go check it out with the link in our bio or search for Disability Perspectives Podcast on any listening platforms. You will love the perspectives that our wonderful guest, John Livermore, has to share!!

“Having a diagnosis is not a bad thing. It shouldn’t be a bad thing. I can do all the other things that every one else can do.

Everyone deals with different things. No one is normal. If they think they are, then it is their own form of normal. Their normal is not the same as everyone else’s normal.
Be yourself. Live out who you are. “ - John Livermore, Episode 5

Episode 2 has dropped and we can't wait for you all to hear it!

Kendall had this to say about her experience on the podcast: "It was a joy working with Utah. Disability Perspectives is a podcast with tremendous meaning. It shows care towards the whole population, disabled or not. Utah’s passion combined with his ambition can make a difference in normalizing disabilities. I hope my perspective cultivates more comfort around mental health problems for individuals that are seeking assistance. The extent of someone’s disability, no matter how large or small, does not make it any less valid for seeking help."

“Someone I started to look into recently is Brenè Brown. In her podcast, unlocking us, she once said that you need to have a soft front and a strong back. This changed how I presented myself. I used to want to seem so strong to others and not let them get to me or hurt me, but she helped me know that it’s okay to be vulnerable as long as you don’t let people tear you down.” -Kendall Keyser, Episode 2
