Please be careful out there!

They be promising you 1k Nigerian followers for 3k, 5k... Until you send money and they block you.

The only type of followers you can get that cheap are international. Its okay if it's a personal account that just wants numbers

But if you're a business....go for Actual Nigerian followers. They are a bit more expensive..but worth it.

Here's a few tips to help you grow your Instagram presence

1️⃣ Create content:

There is no way you can have a page without content and expect to grow.
You need to create interesting content. You can make use Reels. They will be favoured by the algorithm

2️⃣ Focus on Customer Satisfaction and Show it:

If you sell online then this is for you. Ensure your prospects see that you're more concerned about their satisfaction than their money.
Answer questions. Reply Comments and DMs. Give tips.
Show that you Care by actually caring.

3️⃣ Get Followers on Your Page:

Nothing turns people off like a page without followers.
If you're a business owner online. You need followers on your page

Simple steps to optimize your social media pages.

1️⃣ Understand the Algorithm:
You don't want to be in war with the higher powers. Understand the algorithm and play in a way that it'll favor you.
Instagram pushed short form video content more. So, Create short form video content.

Simple.

2️⃣ Create a Suitable Page: Getting followers is one thing. Having a welcoming page is another.
Fix your bio
Have some content they can consume when they land. Have something there waiting

3️⃣ Use an appropriate or related Username: This is for those who sell a product or render a service. You can go the extra mile to fixate these into your username.... something like:

"Grace | Ibadan shoe plug"
"KC | The Chef Grandmaster"

Just something to make them realize what you do fater even if they spotted you in someone's comment section.

4️⃣ Use an attractive Profile picture: Nothing beats this. This in hand with your name is what will force anyone to make that click on your header to come check you out.

Have it looking spicy enough.

5️⃣ Engage on other people's page: Yeah. You heard me mention comments sections. This is one of the places you can get followers.
When you make Relevant Comments in strategic places. People will spot you.
These include that of influencers.
People in your niche. The big dogs of the industry.

How do feel when you create Content.... only to end up with 2 likes and no comment??
It can be really demoralizing.

Here are some tips to increase engagement:

1️⃣ Understand your Audience:

This is key. You must know the type of audience you have. Their desires. Pain points. Goals. What they like and don't like.
This will help you in the chosing a Content idea/topic since it'll align with something they want to hear or talk about. Hence making them engage.

2️⃣Goal of the Post:

Before you create a post, you should be clear on what you want to achieve with that piece of content. Visibility. Shares. DMs. Sales.
This will enable you structure it better to tell them what exactly to do.

3️⃣Use relevant images/videos:

Ever heard the phrase "A picture is a worth thousand words" and "a video is priceless".
This shows the extent to which you should be sensitive to the images you use. Make sure it's of good quality. Let it be Relevant to the topic. Let it be catchy like the one on this post.

4️⃣ Start with an attention grabbing line:

The first 3 seconds your video or post would determine if the person will watch, read or go their way.

So always start out with something interesting. A pretty face. A question. A statement. Call out an Audience. Call out a problem or benefits... etc.

5️⃣Reply Comments:

In all you do, reply comments. This doesn't only make your audience interact with you more and give them a sense of fulfilment. It also makes the algorithm favor you.

Assuming you have 10 comments and you reply them all. That's 20 comments. The algorithm will take it that your post is good and many people are engaging and it'll show it to more people

5️⃣ Ask for suggestions:

Ask your audience what they'll like you to talk about. A question they will like you to answer.
This will not only help you create a laser targeted content but also help you it'll bring all those people back to read, watch and engage

Lastly....Use a good lighting and background for your videos!!!

Can't stress this enough. Just make it look worthwhile.
