✨️🧝‍♂️Guess who’s trading mortal worries for a bit of moonlight mischief? Me!🧝‍♂️✨️
I’ll be wandering Ren Faire PH 2025 on the Final Day as the Twilight Starborn, Mandy Reighma - an elf who walks the veil between stardust and dusk, where moonlight hums with forgotten secrets and the twilight calls to those who listen. Drifting between worlds, never quite belonging to one or the other, I follow the whispers of the night and the glow of the stars.

This is my first time cosplaying as Iori Shiromi and with Patrick Macapagal as my Sensei and to be honest, I was surprised at how much attention she got from the fans of the franchise since I only played the game for a short while before this. I did enjoy cosplaying her though. Looking forward to cos her more in future cons.

FIRST COSPLAY: 2022 Cosplay Matsuri as Izu (Kamen Rider Zero-One)

LAST COSPLAY: 2024 Cosplay Matauri as Azu (Kamen Rider Zero-One)
I really planned to dress as Azu for CosMatsuri 2024 with the thought of a "Then and Now" post. Then I saw this trend going around, so might as well.

What changed?
1. ultimately, gained weight 😆 the costume was almost giving up and clinging too tightly na. hahaha! apart from stress and less physical activity, ang sarap kumain eh 🤣 but will try to be more active na ulit sa 2025.
2. turned to the dark side as Azu coz she is the villain counterpart of Izu.
3. realized after my Izu cos that the wig's original bangs were too sparse, so I bought a separate and fuller clip-on bangs so I could use it for both the short and long hair wigs.
4. I'm more confident with my make up skills now than I was before. I also thought before that since she's a Humagear (synthetic AI androids), I don't really need to put on much make-up, but in my personal opinion, having my own take on her make-up adds a personal touch to how I interpret her character.
4. the original pants that came with the costume was made of pu leather and was already coming apart so I just wore thick stockings for the most recent one. I'll probably recycle the teal fabric of the original pants and have it sewn on a more comfortable fabric; I was thinking of having it sewn on some nice compression leggings some time this year.

2024-12-30 | Cosplay Matsuri 2024 Day 3
I expected the day to be short and chill since I wasn't expecting to be recognized as much and that our energy levels might be drained, but we ended up staying until the end of the program and my Azu got recognized by quite a few as well. Anyways, I went as Azu from Kamen Rider Zero-One during Day 3 and was with Asobi Tengu as Himiko Toga from Boku no Hero Academia.

I didn't have much selfies earlier in the day, but I went as Iori Shiromi from Blue Archive during Day 2 and was with Asobi Tengu as Niffty from Hazbin Hotel.

I've been more active at cosplaying than I originally thought I would be, thanks to my CONstants Asobi Tengu and Pau. Cosplay Mania 2024 was also the first event that I had an actual shoot in my cosplay. It was so much fun and I will most likely try to book more shoots to better do justice to the characters and the costumes I am wearing.

12-07-2024 | Howler's Manila 2024
I went as a Helldiver to Howler's Manila 2024 for my first cosgroup in the hopes that we can be part of the GWR attempt.. So much for that though..
Anyway, this is also my first time to wear a costume with a helmet and pieces of armor (though I only had a few 😅). And all I can say is ang init ng naka helmet out in the open 🥵 As a sweaty girlie, ilang seconds palang nagsisimula nang maglagatak pawis ko.
Thanks to Patrick Macapagal and his group of friends for accomodating me in your cosgroup. Hope we can have a proper shoot soon 😄

CosPrep Iori Shiromi I could have gone with double sided holographic decals but my budget at the time only allowed for one holo and one solid color. The holo side will be the one on the bottom so its seen on photos while the top is juat a plain gray like in other references.
