FROM MAT LEAVE TO MOMPRENEUR LIFE

It was right at the beginning of my mat leave that I knew my career was sinking. Fast forward, Now I’m building my business from home with my computer while I watch my husband and baby play together. And feeling so grateful for everything that led me to this path.

My name is Astrid, happily married to my best friend Salim, mom of 2, one baby and one furbaby. We’re from Quebec,Canada but originally from Mexico (me) and Morocco(hubby).

Both working in the financial industry, we thought we had everything figured out.

I was taught that I had to go to school, get a degree , get a job and work until you retire . I thought I was on the right path, I ended up landing a great job in my field right after finishing school.

Almost at the end of my pregnancy I got a promotion and worked really hard during that time. I was told by my boss one day before leaving for mat leave that they couldn’t guarantee the same position once my maternity leave ends. Pregnant, disappointed and hopeless.

I needed a plan B. Which in a matter of months became my plan A.

I decided to start fresh. I wanted to be able to control my time so I could spend more time with my family, watch my baby grow and travel anytime we wanted. And let me tell you something, my husband and I haven't missed any of our baby milestones. The first giggles, the first words, first time crawling and now his first steps. My baby has traveled many times in the span of 1 year, lucky him!

I feel really blessed and grateful I landed on the ad that made my life change for good. I took a leap of faith even if I was scared and skeptical at the beginning but it changed once I got in.

Now I help people all over the world who are in the same position I was not long ago, to achieve their goals and guide them to start their own business. Teaching them how to leverage the internet to generate an income through social media:
