Congratulations to Alyssa Langford (Choctaw Nation) - Oklahoma 3A State champion Pole Vault.

Congratulations to Alyssa Langford (Choctaw Nation), a Sophomore out of Kingston High School in Oklahoma, who won the Oklahoma Class 3A State Championship in Pole Vault and finished the season with a PR of 11’ 6”.

Getting it done on the court. Congrats.

Congratulations to Robert Briley (Choctaw), out of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, for being selected to the AGreat American Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Briley was SE's third highest scorer with 11.5 points per game. The redshirt-junior forward also racked up 19 double-figure points games.

The Gary and Angie Batton Generations Scholarship was established to inspire future generations to honor and preserve Choctaw history, culture, and traditions. This $2,000 competitive scholarship is available to Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma students pursuing a bachelor’s (junior/senior), master’s, or doctoral degree in eligible fields!

Choctaw Nation Tribal Court is providing additional opportunities for tribal members to attend court to pay fines and clear outstanding warrants. See below.

Choctaw Nation Tribal Court is providing additional opportunities for tribal members to attend court to pay fines and clear outstanding warrants.

Tribal Court will stay open until 7:30 p.m. on December 5. Contact the Choctaw Nation Public Defenders Office at 580-634-0678 for more information and to see if you qualify.

Choctaw tribal members may be eligible to receive beef and pecans supplied by Choctaw Ranches. To qualify, applicants must be Choctaw Nation tribal members, 18 or older, residing within the reservation and meet low-income requirements.

Currently open for the Annual Hunting and Grazing Land Lease Auction

Bidding is currently open for the Annual Hunting and Grazing Land Lease Auction. The auction will be held on January 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Choctaw Nation Headquarters.

All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect interested property before the lease event. Sealed bids will be accepted, but each tract of land will be offered to the highest responsible bidder at public auction, so bidders are encouraged to be present. Bidding can be completed at chocta.ws/hunting-lease.

Online bidding closes on January 5 at 11:59 p.m.
