Some wounds are loud. Others are silent—but just as deep.

Healing begins when we stop ignoring the ache and start paying attention to what it’s pointing toward.

Do you ever feel like you’ve been “managing” pain instead of healing it?

Let us know where you’re at. You’re not alone on the journey. 💬👇

Think of a time you were affirmed—
when someone reflected the goodness in you.
How did it feel?

Now think of a time you weren’t—
when your goodness was overlooked, or worse, rejected.
That ache? It points to something deeper.

We were made to be seen, known, and affirmed.

But no one does that more perfectly than Christ—
the fully mature and affirmed One,
who looks at us with love and says,
“You are good. You are mine.”

Let Him affirm you at the deepest level.

What does it look like to integrate faith with therapy?

This week, Jake and Bob begin a new series where they welcome therapists from around the world to discuss the integration of faith in psychology, real life lessons learned, and the various methodologies they practice.

Today, they are joined by Bernhard Streiselberger, a Professional Counselor from Austria, who specializes in Gestalt therapy and EMDR.

Bernhard shares his journey from studying psychotherapy in Austria to being formed in monastic life and how it has shaped his approach to therapy.

He also delves into the details of Gestalt therapy and the Immanuel Approach, how these methodologies have positively impacted his clients, and why affirmation is a key component in everyone’s healing journey.

When a priest is free to be himself, the Church is stronger.

Let’s be the kind of community that helps them thrive.

Renouncing a lie isn’t the same as rejecting your humanity.

Through healing prayers and renunciations, we can cast out the spirit or lie behind an emotion we feel.

We might believe lies like: “I have to bury my anger. I have to hide it from others.”
But renouncing that lie doesn’t mean the anger disappears—or that we should reject it.

Our emotions, at their core, carry something sacred. They often point us to deeper meaning or unmet needs.
The key is integration.

Jesus doesn’t want to erase your emotions.
He wants to meet you in them—to bring right order, wholeness, and communion.

Renounce the lie. Let the emotion lead you to Him.

If you’ve been awake to the world for more than a few days, you’ve likely felt it:
The noise.
The pressure.
The expectations that never end.

Everything and everyone pulling you in different directions—while something deeper inside whispers,
This isn’t how it was meant to be.

Your heart remembers Eden.
It aches for the intimacy and peace we were created for.

Is it possible to live deeply connected to God in a world like this?
Yes.

In fact, it’s from this place of ache that He meets us.
Not when we’ve figured it all out. Not once we’ve fixed ourselves.
But here. Now.

From our place of need, He invites us into encounter.
To surrender.
To trust.

To return to the One who never stopped pursuing us.
This is the beginning of discipleship.

John also shares stories and insights from his own journey, highlights how unchecked busyness can mask deeper wounds or spiritual emptiness, and encourages listeners, with practical advice, to seek genuine communion with Jesus for true restoration.
