estoc - Forgeries [CP009]

is a Philadelphia-based producer and DJ. Her musical journey started with an introduction to chiptune and forays into dubstep and hardcore, ultimately leading her to the physiology-hacking drum workouts she’s now most known for.

‘Forgeries’ extends a musical hot streak, following up a monumental Eurasian tour and her life-affirming Yegorka-released ‘BOG TROLL’ EP. Her latest feat is an expression of largesse and seasonal spirit: a 5-course blend buffet, because it’s Christmas time and no one should go hungry. You have before you a bountiful spread, including Slowdive à-la-nitecore, a tantalising Beach House x Brandy fusion, and a hearty steaming hunk of reconstituted Death Cab… you’re eating. Praise be and good tidings to all.

Celes is an artist based in New York. Her music melds the enigmatic and the technical, traversing uplifting rave performances, crushing drone, synthetic machinations and beyond. She mines hidden, deeply felt emotional territory, capturing and channelling chaotic sensory entities and redirecting them toward a heartstopping emotional release.

Café is her debut Club Paradiso release. The album is a transference of divine energy, bound, distilled and purified. Artificial angels reconstituted from charred selkie matter: strobe haloes, hardcoded virtue sensors, plied and fused mechawings. Brutal cyborgian femininity, a slow-swaying dance on the border of Nothingness and Totality. Café sighs and shimmers like a digital mirage, blissed out and blessed up in equal measure.

EMIT.8 is Canadian fashion designer and decorated judo champion Josh Reim’s debut full-length.

It’s a brooding, melodic work painstakingly sculpted in the Quebec and New Hampshire countryside. The album brings anguish and relief in equal measure, reconstituting human pain in digitised form—like a disembodied nerve system animating a sinewy mech suit. It’s heartfelt and cold, alien and intimate.

The work builds on Reim’s previous project, 2021’s Circadian Rhythm EP, which found harmony between disparate influences like Joyce Manor, Giant Claw, and Bach. EMIT.8 is built on traditional pop structures, rendering gleaming, cybernetic sonic architecture on its foundations. The songs traverse time, penance, faith and the interaction between them, finding a blissed out state of grace in the quest for redemption.

Pre-release available on Bandcamp now. Out everywhere the 24th of July.

Influenced by glitch, EDM, punk and hyperpop, they mix genres and tries to extract their bitterness. A swampy storytelling pill prescribed to be swallowed with a post-baggy aftertaste.

¸♪ bod [包家巷] is the primary audiovisual performance project of Tucson-born, Berlin-based artist N. Zhu. Beginning with a series of emotionally direct and syntactically encrypted music/video/text projects, bod [包家巷] has gradually expanded from cyber-Realist microcosmic analyses of the emotional experience of poverty, alienation, and non-identity towards the intersecting fields of East/West dualistic esotericism, quantum mechanical spirituality concerning non-Euclidean conceptions of time, anti-collaborationist agit prop and non-object oriented geopolitical repositioning. bod [包家巷] is currently working on integrating into European society as a citizen and a feature-only project titled "Music Made by Other People" in collaboration with Angelicism01, scheduled for summer of 2022.

¸♪ Europa’s music is borderless. Tracks surge upward and ahead, from the blistering forward motion of his club bulldozers to the weightless expansiveness of his ambient cloudscapes. His soundworks are composed almost exclusively while in transit — on buses, trains, planes — imbuing them with the mission-focused intensity of life lived without a rearview. He released an EP called ‚Blush’ on Club Paradiso last March.

¸♪ Drawing its inspiration from neo-folk, black metal, dark ambient and OST, the Nice-based producer tumy created a place of solace for a youth seeking to take refuge in the conforting niches of the internet. Delicate melodies are colliding with rapid drums and enveloping ambient chords, forming an eclectic yet coherent universe.

¸♪ lil rhiz0me is a personified musical entity with seemingly one-dimensional lyrics and pop veiling complex undertones and influences. We're honoured to have her perform her debut live show.

¸♪ luca_borsato721 is the founder and head of celestial rave label Club Paradiso. His mixes see him confront dancefloor demons and commune with nocturnal angels — expect tranced-out sets animated by breakcored bliss and alive with deep, ambient yearning.
