At Central Mindanao Colleges, research is more than just academic inquiry—it is a catalyst for transformation, innovation, and global engagement. Through Panukiduki 7.0, CMC continues to promote Collaboration, Mentorship, and Creativity, supporting its commitment to intellectual growth and interdisciplinary research.

The conference is structured into two key segments. Part 1: the Plenary Session. It was conducted online via Zoom, featuring distinguished speakers from the Philippines – DR. Pamela F. Resurreccion, USA – DR. Jose “Joel” Sanqui, Indonesia – DR. Diah Ayu Permatasari ST., S.IP., SH., M.IR, and India – DR. Himanshu Vaishnaw. These experts provide valuable insights on diverse topics—enriching participants with perspectives that shape the future of education, industry, and human development. Part 2: the Paper Presentations. It consists of 14 breakout rooms for in-person discussions and one breakout room via Zoom, allowing for both face-to-face and virtual participation.

165 presenters from various academic disciplines—including education, computing, psychology, business, engineering, criminal justice and senior high showcased studies on key topics such as pedagogy, digital transformation, leadership, sustainability, and cultural adaptation.

Panukiduki 7.0 strengthens CMC’s dedication to excellence, inclusivity, and research-driven transformation, enabling scholars, educators, and professionals to contribute to advancements in their respective fields. This conference not only provides participants with valuable learning experiences but also facilitates connections that drive innovation and intellectual growth.

April 22, 2025—CENTRAL MINDANAO COLLEGES Celebrates 8th Commencement Exercises for Batch 2024-2025. CMC Senior High School proudly held its 8th Commencement Exercises for Batch 2024-2025 at the Provincial Capitol in Amas, Kidapawan City. With the theme "Generation of Unity: Partners for the New Philippines", the event focused on celebrating the graduates' achievements and their journey toward new opportunities.

The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments as students received their diplomas, marking years of dedication and perseverance. The theme underscored the value of unity and collaboration as graduates step into the next phase of their lives. As they embark on new paths, the graduates leave with a strong sense of accomplishment and purpose, ready to take on challenges and contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields and communities.

The crowning event, Hiyas 2025, added a touch of elegance and grace.

CMC SHS Elects New SSLG Officers for AY 2025-2026

Central Mindanao Colleges (CMC) Senior High School (SHS) announced its new Student Supreme Learners Government (SSLG) officers for the 2025-2026 academic year on April 8th, 2025. The election, held online April 4th, 2025.

The proclamation, led by SHS SEC Adviser Ms. Meralyn Eslacin and SEC President Ms. Nizzi Grace Genelsa, announced the following elected officials: Mil Grace Saguing (President), Christian Jay Salazar (Vice President), Leizle Silang (Secretary), Psyzy Akira Nakano (Treasurer), Khim Charisse Lazaga (Auditor), Leigh Nicole Francisco (Public Information Officer), Tristan Flores and Jolex Ynion (Business Managers), John Patrick Teh and Yvan Andoy (Peace Officers), and Trisha Espeja (Head Representative).

Saguing, in her acceptance speech, thanked the student body and outlined her vision for holistic governance. Advisers Ms. Meralyn Eslacin and Ms. Nizzi Grace Genelsa congratulated the winners and praised student participation, highlighting the importance of respectful discourse and democratic engagement. The ceremony underscored the significance of effective leadership, emphasizing service, empowerment, and fostering a supportive school environment. The new SSLG team's focus will be on collaborative leadership and serving the student body.

𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

On April 4th, 2025, representatives from the Hiraya and Ignite partylists convened for a "miting de avance," a pre-election gathering typically used to rally support and announce final campaign strategies. While the event itself was not unusual, the collaboration between these two groups has sparked considerable speculation among political analysts.

The meeting, held at Central Mindanao College Senior Highschool campus, drew a significant crowd, with supporters from both partylists displaying a united front. Speakers emphasized the shared goals of both Hiraya and Ignite. The atmosphere was described as enthusiastic and optimistic, with a clear message of unity and collaborative effort.

However, the seemingly harmonious gathering has raised questions regarding the underlying motivations. On March 17, 2025, CMC-Senior High School (SHS) proudly hosted its Third Quarter Recognition Ceremony at the CMC Students' Activity Center, honoring over 300 students. This event was more than just a presentation of medals and certificates, it was a heartfelt celebration of the late nights, sacrifices, and unwavering dedication that these young achievers have demonstrated

Mrs. Fordan opened the program with inspiring words, setting a tone of motivation and celebration. Her message resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the importance of perseverance and the transformative power of education.

This ceremony aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and (SDG) 17: Partnership for Goals, as CMC-SHS promotes an environment where academic excellence and holistic growth are achieved. The school’s commitment to inclusivity ensures that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

As the ceremony concluded, the message to all honorees was clear: continue to chart your journey and champion your dreams. CMC-SHS is not just celebrating individual achievements, it is nurturing the next generation of leaders who will contribute positively to society.

"𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥"

On March 13, 2025, Central Mindanao Colleges Senior High School conducted a National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM aimed to enhance disaster preparedness among students and faculty. In alignment with the SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, this initiative reinforces CMC’s commitment to safety. This initiative was part of a nationwide effort to promote awareness and readiness in educational institutions, equipping participants with skills to respond effectively in the event of an earthquake.

At the designated time, an alarm signaled the start of the drill, prompting students to drop, cover, and hold on. Following this initial response, students evacuated their classrooms in an orderly manner, guided by teachers and safety officers, and gathered at the CMC Quadrangle, the designated assembly point, where attendance was taken to ensure everyone was accounted for.

The drill was successful, with high participation and adherence to safety protocols. Feedback from participants emphasized the importance of such drills in building confidence and preparedness for real-life emergencies. Teachers noted areas for improvement, such as enhancing communication during the drill and ensuring all students are familiar with emergency procedures.

In a world increasingly challenged by environmental issues, the need for proactive solutions has never been more urgent. The CMC Senior High School (SHS) community recently took significant strides toward sustainability with its initiative, "Luntiang Pamana: Planting Trees, Leaving Legacies." Under the dedicated leadership of Principal Mrs. Mareveth Fordan, faculty and students came together for a meaningful tree-planting event on February 28, 2025, at the CMC Annex Campus.

This initiative was about more than just planting trees; it represented a heartfelt commitment to our environment and a shared vision for a healthier future. The decision to plant 500 Malabayabas seedlings held special significance. These resilient trees symbolize hope and renewal, with each seedling representing a promise to future generations to care for our planet.

The "Luntiang Pamana" project served as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect the Earth. It encouraged participants to reflect on their individual actions and consider how they could contribute to a positive legacy. The benefits of tree planting extend far beyond the immediate act; trees are vital to our ecosystem, improving air quality and providing habitats for countless species.

This initiative also offered students a valuable educational experience. Through hands-on involvement, they learned about the ecological benefits of trees and the importance of biodiversity. The event transformed into a joyful celebration of community spirit and teamwork, reinforcing the idea that together, we can make a meaningful difference.

"Luntiang Pamana" was more than just a tree-planting event; it was a heartfelt movement toward sustainability, nurturing values of responsibility, hope, and resilience within the CMC SHS community. As these seedlings take root, they cultivate a legacy that will flourish for generations to come.
