This trend is an emotional one. Looking at my younger self and wishing I could tell her: You are beautiful, your struggles don't define you, and your worth has nothing to do with your weight or what those bullies say. I'm grateful for the lessons learned, but I wish you knew sooner how wonderfully you'd turn out—happy, loved, with a beautiful family. You made it, kid. ✨

She’s in her slow down era.

I recently decided to stop CrossFit and give up most forms of high-intensity exercise… I was constantly in pain, exhausted, and inflamed. I’d fallen into the trap of thinking I had to train that way to be strong and fit.
But with hypermobility, my body was screaming at me to slow down—and I finally listened.
Now I’m finding strength in slowing down: slow weights, mindful movement, and Pilates.
It’s not just helping my body, it’s healing it. 💛
I still love CrossFit—but my joints don’t, and that’s okay.
