In February, 2022, North Carolina’s Mason Hyce Barnes rode this mega-bomb at Nazaré. In July, 2022 the World Surf League declared it the Biggest Tow Wave of the year. But in an odd departure from previous tradition, no height was given at the time. Was it 70 feet? 80 feet? 90 feet? A new World Record? No comment at the time. But now, almost one year later...still no updates. One way or another, don’t you think Mason deserves to hear something on this topic? Video by Laurent Pujol.
