Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Watching the episode of the “Chosen” last night where they fished all night and caught nothing…

The anger in which Simon was mouthing off to GOD caught my attention.

It seemed such a powerful representation of man and his need to blame someone or something up to and including GOD for his own personal mistakes and misfortune.

How often do we actually blame GOD for things that come from our very own decisions?

Simon’s decision had caused the pressure on his life.

Listening to your flesh with no regard to GOD is the cause of our failures.

Those believers that consult GOD on matters that may seem too small are the ones that have the least distress.

I believe Proverbs says not to trust in your own understanding but to ask GOD about everything.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek HIS Will in all you do,
and HE will show you which path to take.

Your part is to ask and then obey.
Simply trust and obey.

Jeremiah 17:7 But blessed are those who trust in the LORD
and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

It truly amazed me how this example played out in scripture.

Frustrated from his own efforts, trusting in his own knowledge and understanding of his vocation, he failed and had the empty nets to prove it.

Then JESUS shows up and says, I know you are weary, I know this sounds crazy but, listen to MY direction and trust me…

Luke 5:1 One day as JESUS was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on HIM to listen to the WORD of GOD.
2 HE noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets.
3 Stepping into one of the boats, JESUS asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So HE sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there.
4 When HE had finished speaking, HE said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.”
5 “MASTER,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”
6 And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!
7 A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.
8 When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before JESUS and said, “Oh, LORD, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.”
9 For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.
10 His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed.
JESUS replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!”
11 And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed JESUS.

Talk about getting their attention!

Why is it we do the same thing?

We try everything in our own power first. We exhaust ourselves doing it our way and all we have are “empty nets.”

Romans 15:13 I pray that GOD, the SOURCE of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in HIM. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Knowing GOD’s HOLY SPIRIT walks with me, and talks with me through each and every day gives me a peace that goes way beyond my abilities.

HE ushers in a hope that my physical endurance will get me through each day’s obstacles.

HE gives me the wisdom I need to face each day’s test, in a confidence reserved for HIM alone.

I trust in GOD, my FATHER, JESUS, my SAVIOR and the HOLY SPIRIT that is my GUIDE to the steps I must take and the decisions I must make as I wait for HIS return in this life.

Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD,
and HE will give you your heart’s desires.
5 Commit everything you do to the LORD.
Trust HIM, and HE will help you.

Communication is key.

1 Thess 5:17 Never stop praying.

LORD, help me to keep turning to YOU in everything that I will face in ‘26!

Good morning Brothers and Sisters!

You are invited.

When we get invited anywhere typically we first check our schedules before accepting.

We may put it on the calendar a circle it as the date becomes closer so that we will remember.

After accepting the invitation we begin to prepare in excitement, planning what to wear, and when to leave so we won’t be late.

Often we even share the excitement of the invitation with friends and family.

When it’s an important event we wait in anticipation.

Have you prepared?

Have you RSVP’d your answer?

Are your garments cleaned?

Parable of the Great Feast

Matthew 22:1 JESUS also told them other parables. HE said,
2 “The KINGDOM of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son.
3 When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come!
4 “So he sent other servants to tell them, ‘The feast has been prepared. The bulls and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the banquet!’
5 But the guests he had invited ignored them and went their own way, one to his farm, another to his business.
6 Others seized his messengers and insulted them and killed them.
7 “The king was furious, and he sent out his army to destroy the murderers and burn their town.
8 And he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, and the guests I invited aren’t worthy of the honor.
9 Now go out to the street corners and invite everyone you see.’
10 So the servants brought in everyone they could find, good and bad alike, and the banquet hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to meet the guests, he noticed a man who wasn’t wearing the proper clothes for a wedding.
12 ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how is it that you are here without wedding clothes?’ But the man had no reply.
13 Then the king said to his aides, ‘Bind his hands and feet and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

This particular parable strikes home in many ways.

We (gentiles) know we weren’t the original guest that were invited.

I’m not going to take offense to this fact but I will give praise that a seat was made available!

I say praise the LORD!

HALLELUJAH!!

Thank you LORD that I’ve been invited!

Now I know that I must begin preparing for this Great Banquet.

For the middle part of my life I can say I wasn’t prepared.
I would have been denied entry. I was not properly attired.

My “clothes” were but filthy rags.

Now, I understand with the “invite”came the “clothing”.

For I am clothed in the MASTERS Righteousness.

Ephesians 2:8 GOD saved you by HIS Grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from GOD.
9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
10 For we are GOD’s masterpiece. …

The garments I now wear were cleaned far beyond my capabilities, well beyond the capabilities of any man.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool

For entry into this Special Banquet your garments must be white as fresh snow.

Without blemish.

A simple process that can only come from only ONE CLEANER.

Zechariah 3:3 Jeshua’s clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel.
4 So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Jeshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.”

And HE comes to you!

HE provides the Garment.

HE provides the Transportation.

HE provides feast.

All you need to do is accept the invitation.

Glory be to GOD!
The MASTER of Ceremonies!

Praying that this “feast” will be in ‘26!

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Understanding is a blessing.

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.

Ever study Scripture and think you got it down and understand just what it meant?

Then later someone else is talking on their understanding of that same Scripture but that’s not quite how you understood it?

As we grow closer to GOD HIS HOLY SPIRIT begins to educate us in the True meanings of HIS WORD.

You, who believe, obey and seek wholeheartedly are called to understand, though not by your power of intellect or by your own understanding but by GOD’s.

Matthew 13:10 Then the disciples came and said to HIM, “Why do YOU speak to them in parables?”
11 And HE answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the KINGDOM of Heaven, but to them it has not been given.

You have not because you ask not?

… for your personal study time. (May your eyes and ear be opened to HIS Truth)

Because for them the veil has not been torn.

For them, their flesh still has dominion over their mind.

Matthew 13:12 For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

It is in the posture of our heart responding in obedience and faith through our spirit and past the flesh’s understanding of the Truth, and seeking the fullness of GOD’s WORD.

Matthew 13:13 This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
14 Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah (6:9-10) is fulfilled that says:
“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
15 For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’

Those that do not respond properly in obedience will become more and more spiritually blind and deaf.

Spiritually dead.

To ignore GOD’s WORD, to disobey GOD’s commandments, to refuse to repent and turn from your wickedness and ask for HIS Grace causes your heart to harden against HIS very Love.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If MY people who are called by MY Name humble themselves, and pray and seek MY face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

As Paul warned us…

Acts 17:30 The times of ignorance GOD overlooked, but now HE commands all people everywhere to repent,
31 because HE has fixed a day on which HE will judge the world in Righteousness by a MAN whom HE has appointed; and of this HE has given assurance to all by raising HIM from the dead.”

But you who seek HIS very Truth and have softened your heart to obey HIS Will each day and exercise your spirit to create a stronger faith that rises above your flesh and choose to follow CHRIST JESUS as HIS disciples have HIS blessings.

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
17 For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Thank you JESUS that you have called my name, that you have taken my hand and led me out of the darkness that my flesh once lived in.
Here I am LORD, use me.

Thank you LORD for placing YOUR LOVING LIGHT in me that others may see YOU through my obedience to YOUR WORD and be led to their eternal life and salvation for YOUR GLORY!

Help me LORD, to be a sower of YOUR seeds of Truth everywhere I go that YOUR harvest will be plentiful.

Thank YOU JESUS, for raising me from my spiritual death.

Open their eyes JESUS to understand that they may be able to count the seeds in an apple, but they cannot count the apples in just one seed.

I’ll just keep sowing seeds for the KINGDOM of GOD in 26!

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Timing.

In the world we now live in everything is timed.

Even the church as a whole is somewhat governed by a time table.

I know…

Ecclesiastes 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven:

But there are vast differences from man’s perception of time and GOD’s perspective of time.

I have heard several times that we serve a “11:59 GOD!”

You can trust that HE will come through but HE teaches you patience in the process.

GOD stands outside of “time” as we know it.

HE is not affected by time in any matter.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

As simple as this verse is it stands as proof before the beginning GOD already was.

To trust fully in GOD also means we must fully trust in HIS timing.

Psalm 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him,…

Let me tell you about GOD’s perfect timing yesterday.

Mike and I were servicing a few yards on a Saturday morning, not a normal occurrence.

I actually buried my Zero in some sand, praise the LORD, HE gave me the thought to install a winch last year.

Since that happened the second yard took longer than expected.

I had already wrote out the sequence of the six we had that were held over from Friday.

As we are leaving, that second yard, I had a thought to change the schedule since I was picking up my wife to help (already prearranged by the way) and go to the farthest away first.

We get to the third yard, about thirty minutes out, all said and done,but she doesn’t need servicing. I’m thinking what my wife is saying. I should have called and not wasted my time. (And hers, my wife’s .)

We go to number 4 and service it, but, before leaving I called the number 5 and checked. Not needed.

This draught we are experiencing would normally begin to make me worry, but I know to trust GOD.

Pull up to what now will be the last one.

Mike makes his way into the back yard. My wife begins in the front, as I send the notice to the customer that we are here.

Mike returns and says; “I need your help.” Not something he would normally say, I couldn’t quite hear what he said but followed him to the back.

My friend and customer had fallen out of his wheelchair and onto the ground, his wife was trying to help him up and back into the seat.

Mike and I quickly helped him up and into the chair.

He has nerve damage in his legs from a previous fall. Not paralyzed but has no feeling so he actually has no control.

He went out to feel the heat and sunshine.

GOD’s perfect timing.

We were supposed to mow Friday.

Our week had been a complete battle to move forward and became impossible to stay on schedule.

I had questioned or made note of it verbally several times through the week.

Now, I can see GOD had a plan. We were a small part in a bigger picture.

An answer to a prayer yet to be prayed.

Proverbs 16:9 The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.

Mike and I both thought it out as we serviced their yard.

Afterwards we both commented on GOD’s perfect timing.

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love GOD all things work together for good, for those who are called according to HIS purpose.

GOD knew we both would keep going and not leave yards for next week.

All those delays and frustrations were for HIS purpose.

To be there at my friend’s house at the exact time he would need help.

Here we are GOD use us!
Send us LORD to do YOUR Will.

How many times does this type of thing happen without us realizing it?

Sometimes we obey HIS prompting without question and at other times unfortunately we choose to ignore those schedule changes.

A perfect temptation is to get you to try and move outside of GOD’s Will and timing.

When we do, even without understanding, we begin to walk in disobedience to HIS Will for our lives.

James 1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Sometimes those trials are designed to test your patience.

GOD’s timing is always perfect.

Yet when we know without doubt that we can trust fully in GOD in all things we have a peace and understanding that goes far beyond our time schedules.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge HIM,
and HE will make straight your paths.

Walk on HIS path in ‘26!

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Doubt.

Doubting is a troubling reality at times.

Matthew 11:2 John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the MESSIAH was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask JESUS,
3 “Are YOU the MESSIAH we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”

JESUS’ very cousin, the one that baptized JESUS and saw the HOLY SPIRIT descend upon HIM, then heard the LORD’s voice from Heaven say WHO HE was had a moment of doubt.

Matthew 3:15…So John agreed to baptize HIM (JESUS).
16 After HIS baptism, as JESUS came up out of the water, the Heavens were opened and he saw the SPIRIT of GOD descending like a dove and settling on HIM.
17 And a Voice from Heaven said, “This is MY dearly loved SON, who brings ME great joy.”

We ask, how could John have any doubt?!

HE saw.
HE heard.
HE knew.

Yet in a moment of weakness…

HE doubted?

Maybe it was not really doubting but more like verifying what he knew in his heart.

JESUS is the MESSIAH.

Perhaps John knew he was facing death for his ministry of the coming MESSIAH.

He knew his mission and ministry was a calling from GOD since his very beginning, the SPIRIT of GOD came upon him in the womb.

Luke 1:41 At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her, and Elizabeth was filled with the HOLY SPIRIT .
42 Elizabeth gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, “GOD has blessed you above all women, and your CHILD is blessed.
43 Why am I so honored, that the mother of my LORD should visit me?
44 When I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb jumped for joy.
45 You are blessed because you believed that the LORD would do what HE said.”

John’s call was clear and prophetic.

Malachi 3:1 “Look! I am sending MY messenger, and he will prepare the way before ME. Then the LORD you are seeking will suddenly come to HIS Temple. The MESSENGER of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.

When doubt starts we must learn from John.

Go to JESUS first.

Let JESUS calm our doubts. Ask for HIS peace and understanding.
Yes, we will face difficult times that test our very faith.
Hold on to your stubborn faith in the knowledge of your LORD and MASTER, The CHRIST JESUS and then do exactly what JESUS told John to do.

Matthew 11:4 JESUS told them, “Go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen—
5 the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”
6 And HE added, “GOD blesses those who do not fall away because of ME.”

In this same way we too can fortify our faith, by looking at what the LORD has done in your own life.

Revisit your own testimony over and over in your heart.

Know that you know JESUS is LORD of your life.

To combat doubt, fear and anxiety, …

speak life over the situation by…

speaking out in GOD given “GODfidence”!

Recognizing you can’t but HE can!

Trusting GOD…

by reminding yourself that you could not possibly do the things you do by your own power, or by your own might!

But only by HIS Truth are you able!

Look for HIS Hand in everything that you do.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask GOD, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

JESUS will answer!

In so many ways…

You will not have any doubt.

For in ‘26 we must walk by faith not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Remembering WHO GOD is.

Often in the midst of trials and tribulations, we become so overwhelmed with life in general we forget just WHO GOD is.

Job 26:7 GOD stretches the northern sky over empty space
and hangs the earth on nothing.
8 HE wraps the rain in HIS thick clouds,
and the clouds don’t burst with the weight.
9 HE covers the face of the moon,
shrouding it with HIS clouds.
10 HE created the horizon when HE separated the waters;
HE set the boundary between day and night.
11 The foundations of Heaven tremble;
they shudder at HIS rebuke.
12 By HIS power the sea grew calm.
By HIS skill HE crushed the great sea monster.
13 HIS SPIRIT made the Heavens beautiful,
and HIS power pierced the gliding serpent.
14 These are just the beginning of all that HE does,
merely a whisper of HIS power.
Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of HIS Power?”

To quote Jeremy Taylor; “It is impossible for a man to despair who remembers that his HELPER is omnipotent.”

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning GOD created the Heavens and the earth.

Everything is by HIM and for HIM!

Psalms 19:1 The Heavens proclaim the Glory of GOD.
The skies display HIS craftsmanship.
2 Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make HIM known.
3 They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.

When you stand on the shores of the world’s oceans and see the power of the waves how can you not think of the ONE that set their boundaries?

We spend our days distracted by those things around us.

We have become so busy that we no longer see the beauty GOD created for our pleasure, because we have forgotten WHO GOD is.

Romans 1:19 They know the truth about GOD because HE has made it obvious to them.
20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything GOD made, they can clearly see HIS invisible qualities—HIS eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing GOD.

When fear, worry and doubt begin to overcome our thoughts take a step outside your man made structure and into the world GOD created for your pleasure.

Matthew 6:25 That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your Heavenly FATHER feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to HIM than they are?
27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

No, they can’t.

Worry ushers in fear and doubt, then together they begin to consume your thoughts and take your mind off of GOD’s abilities, not to mention HIS LOVE for you.

365 times in HIS WORD, GOD reminds us not to fear.

When those thoughts begin to manifest, rebuke them in HIS Mighty Name!

2 Corinthians 10:5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of GOD, and take every thought captive to obey CHRIST,

We must, take the time and remind ourselves just WHO GOD is and just how omnipotent and omnipresent HE is.

I will not fear.
I will not worry.
I will not forget.
I will remember.
I will trust.
I will obey.
I will remind myself each day!

Everything is for HIS Honor, HIS Glory, and by HIS MIGHT!

We can walk each day in HIS Presence all through ‘26!

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Challenge.

Pastor Gary gave us three questions last night in class that any believer, true followers of CHRIST should be able to personally answer.

It proved to be a little deeper than imagined.

There will be a time when defending the WORD of GOD will be the most important act of faith and I mean stubborn faith, that you will ever accomplish.

Then there will also come a time when a true defense of the WORD of GOD will cost you your very life.

Why do you believe your GOD, the GOD you serve, the ONE of which you testify, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the only ONE True GOD?

I wrote my answer as soon as I saw the question.

I know what HE has done for me.

It seems much too simple of an answer, until I sat quietly this morning and reflected or better yet, meditated on that simple answer.

Over and over in my mind a scene from the Chosen comes to mind.

Mary of Magdalene
(Luke 8:2…Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom HE had cast out seven demons;) is answering a question from Nicodemus.

He ask how is this possible?

And she said this;

“All I know is, I once was that way and now I am this way, and the only thing that happened was JESUS.”

That! That right there is the epitome of my answer!

I was once that way, and now I am this way!

And JESUS came into my heart!

I surrendered!
I repented!

I turned from my wickedness.

I admitted my weaknesses.

I knew and understood I could not change on my own, under my own power and strength.

But only by HIS BLOOD would I be made free from every chain of bo***ge to addiction, desire, pride, anger, turmoil, fear, doubt and worry.

I accepted CHRIST’s forgiveness for all that I’ve done, every bad deed, every past mistake, every filthy word and asked JESUS to be my SAVIOR and become the LORD over my life.

And when JESUS came into my heart the battle between flesh and spirit became the most real battle I have ever personally experienced.

Yet each and every time I called on HIS Name I felt peace, I felt a Love that I had never experienced.

The more I leaned into HIM, the more I learned to fully trust HIS Truth, the more confident I became in HIS SOVEREIGNTY, HIS Power, HIS Strength, the stronger my faith became.

The more willing and obedient I became to be what HE created me to be the stronger my spirit became.

Yes even now my fleshy desires raise their ugly heads up and scream, but I know the Power of calling on HIS Name, the Name above all other Names! My LORD, My MASTER, is the only MASTER over all creation!

Demons may rise up against me but at HIS Name they must flee!

HIS HOLY SPIRIT resides in me as my PROTECTOR!

HIS HOLY SPIRIT gives my spirit strength to endure the temptations that arise.

The more I abide in HIM through HIS WORD, prayer and true worship of obedience the more HE abides in me!

My lifestyle changed from doing whatever my heart desired to walking in obedience to HIS WORD.

The only way to be obedient to HIS WORD is to seek after what HIS WORD says.

I may learn some direction from others that the LORD has placed in my life but my true TEACHER is GOD’s HOLY SPIRIT that lives in me and guides me in obedience to HIS WORD.

JESUS promises these truths.

Matthew 5:3 “GOD blesses those who are poor and realize their need for HIM,
for the KINGDOM of Heaven is theirs.
4 GOD blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 GOD blesses those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.
6 GOD blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied.
7 GOD blesses those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 GOD blesses those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see GOD.
9 GOD blesses those who work for peace,
for they will be called the children of GOD.
10 GOD blesses those who are persecuted for doing right,
for the KINGDOM of Heaven is theirs.
11 “GOD blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are MY followers.
12 Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in Heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

So yes, I know my answer and stand on it with the confidence of stubborn faith.

My lifestyle changed.

From what pleased me to obedience that pleases my CREATOR, my LORD and my SAVIOR.

This is all I need to know about my GOD.

Matthew 6:33 Seek the KINGDOM of GOD above all else, and live righteously, and HE will give you everything you need.

All I need to do is follow JESUS every minute of every day in ‘26!

Or until HE returns.

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Wheat or chaff.

Which are you?

The many references of the outcome between wheat and chaff that are written throughout scripture are written there as a very visual warning.

Yet in modern times, people lack an understanding of the concept of the separation and discard process during harvest times.

Matthew 3:12 HIS winnowing fork is in HIS hand, and HE will clear HIS threshing floor and gather HIS wheat into the barn, but the chaff HE will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Parable of the Wheat and Weeds

Matthew 13:24 Here is another story JESUS told: “The KINGDOM of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.
25 But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away.
26 When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.
27 “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’
28 “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed.
“‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked.
29 “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”

This story that JESUS told was to give example to the people that claim to seek GOD.

There are only two types of people in this world: those that do and those that don’t.

One will see the KINGDOM and one will not.

Back up to verse…

Matthew 13:11 HE replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets (mysteries) of the KINGDOM of Heaven, but others are not.
12 To those who listen to MY teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.
13 That is why I use these parables,
For they look, but they don’t really see.
They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand.

Those who respond with faith to that which we know will be given more insight and direction as we learn to seek HIM and HIS Righteousness.

Listen closely!

Prophecy is being fulfilled daily.

To seek or not to seek is a choice.

Both choices have an outcome.

JESUS left the decision up to you, yet HE made it abundantly clear on the outcome of your decision.

Parable of the Wheat and Weeds Explained

Matthew 13:36 Then, leaving the crowds outside, JESUS went into the house. HIS disciples said, “Please explain to us the story of the weeds in the field.”
37 JESUS replied, “The SON of MAN is the farmer who plants the good seed.
38 The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the KINGDOM. The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one.
39 The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.
40 “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.
41 The SON of MAN will send HIS angels, and they will remove from HIS KNEES everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their FATHER’s KINGDOM. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

Seriously, it couldn’t be made more clear.

So when it’s all said and done, and harvest time has come, are you going to be put in the MASTER’s Barn or will you be discarded into the fiery furnace?

The choice is yours.

Wheat or chaff?

Chaff:
Revelation 20:15 And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Wheat:
Revelation 21:6 And HE also said, “It is finished! I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA—the BEGINNING and the END. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the Water of Life.
7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their GOD, and they will be MY children.

LORD, create in me a heart that continually seeks YOUR Truth everyday of ‘26!
