🗞️ EXTRA! EXTRA! 🗞️ Rob O'Connor from All Star Superfan Podcast is back again this week for the Season 4 episode “Blackmail,” in which Clark and Henderson hatch a plan that backfires when the criminals turn the tables and blackmail the police inspector for critical evidence.

It’s a standout episode for Robert Shayne, particularly in the scene when he’s packing up a desk. If only they could have put Bill in the final scene of the episode! 🤦‍♂️

Putting aside what we know about the plans for Season 5 of , anyone else on board with my head canon that Mike 👼 bestowed Lois & Clark with the baby in the series finale? As discussed this week, that was the conclusion my 10-year-old brain came to in 1997, and I still say it works!

THANK YOU to everyone who checked out the first installment of our “LOIS & CLARK TV Mixtapes” event! As discussed, I rewatched the ENTIRE series over the past month or so — seeing many episodes for the first time in over 20 years — and I came away with a greater appreciation than ever for the ways in which the show solidified my early fandom.

It’s also particularly fascinating to rewatch the NEW Adventures of Superman as I wind down my George Reeves Adventures of Superman viewing project.

In the weeks ahead, we’ll be spotlighting John Shea’s Lex Luthor, celebrating the show’s rich supporting cast, “drafting” our favorite villains, and counting down the top 10 episodes of the series.

Me if I find out you haven’t listened to our big roundup of this past year’s Superman comics. 😆

As you heard/will hear in the discussion, the Clark-as-Superboy stories in Action (by Waid & Patridge) were easily my favorite as the bunch, representing everything I was hoping to read after my Superboy journey last year.

You really see the character experiencing challenges & internal struggles that are distinct to SuperBOY. And that narration from older Clark is 👌. Hoping to see even more of high school life & moments for Pete “The Boss” Ross to shine.
