Wedding Venues in Puerto Rico that I toured yesterday….
I saw four, fell in love with these three! 🇵🇷 Planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico and touring venues was an absolute dream. If you’re looking for a historic, elegant, and unique wedding venue in Old San Juan, you need to see these three spots.
Here’s a breakdown of the incredible features that made me fall in love:
• Hotel El Convento
• Features: This former convent is the epitome of colonial charm and luxury. It’s perfect for a classic, sophisticated affair. I loved the stunning Spanish courtyard for a cocktail hour, the Salon Campeche ballroom with its dark wood beams and stained glass, and the beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the bay for an intimate ceremony. It’s truly a full-service boutique hotel wedding venue.
• Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico
• Features: Talk about opulence! This historic landmark offers a truly grand, fairytale wedding setting. The ballroom is magnificent with its high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and French neoclassical architecture. This venue is ideal for a large, luxurious reception and is one of the most famous event spaces in San Juan.
• Casa de España
• Features: A gorgeous mix of Spanish-Moorish architecture with intricate tilework and a beautiful interior courtyard. This venue offers a very romantic and cultural backdrop. It’s slightly more intimate than the Casino but still incredibly grand, making it perfect for couples who want a rich, cultural flair and stunning architectural details for their wedding photos.
