Headless Relatives is going through two big changes. The first is a move to Upstate NY, the area in which I grew up. My wife and I have lived in Raleigh, NC for more than seven years now, and while we’ve made a good life here, we’ve decided that moving back to NY is the right call for us. The second big change has been made possible by this move, and that is the addition of Michael Smith as a second vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Michael is the drummer for the Upstate alternative band grape juice! as well as my brother, and once the chaos of moving is over, I look forward to working on the next Headless Relatives album with him and getting out and playing as a duo.
