Do not forget that for the almost 16 years that the NPP has been in Government under the 4th Republic, they have not been able to build just one REGIONAL HOSPITAL or Any Major Referral Health Facility.

When COVID-19 struck, for instance, the Ga East Hospital built by NDC, The UGMC built by NDC, The Ridge Hospital redeveloped by NDC, and the Bank Hospital built by the NDC came to the rescue of Many Ghanaians including Foolish NPP ministers like NAPO, Agyemang Manu amongst Others.

Interestingly, the NPP under Akufo Addo and Bawumia alone has borrowed more than all other Ghanaian Governments combined from 1957 to 2016 but they are yet to build a single regional hospital even in the new regions they created for gerrymandering sake.

When you see two young teenagers falling in love, it is your duty as an adult to talk to them. Most of the time they don't have sense of their own; you have to lend them yours.

Immediately after my WAEC, I went for computer training in one of these road side computer schools.

There's this girl, Charity, an O' Level graduate, who was also taking the training.

After each training we'd stay behind and learn on our own. As Charity and I became familiarized with each other, we fell in love ❤️

The guy who was tutoring us, Uncle Sam, was in his final year in the university as at that time. One fateful day, Uncle Sam called me and said something that I'd never forget.

This was what he said, word for word:
"David! Being in a serious relationship with an opposite s*x at this age is not a good idea. You have a great future, one mistake and you'd spend the rest of your life paying for it."

The computer training center had two branches. Uncle Sam went to the extent of writing a transfer letter for me to move to the other center. He said I wouldn't concentrate if I was seeing Charity everyday.

I bless the day I met Uncle Sam. People like him are not up to ten on this planet.

The following day I called Charity and told her I needed some space.

She tried to reach me for a while but all thanks to Uncle Samuel, I was able to put her away 🙌 Whenever we meet we'd just give each other a 'Hi, how far' greeting.

Today I stumbled on her pre-wedding photos.
By December she's getting married to Uncle Sam 😳

I’ve saved millions of dollars, I’ll pay double what my rivals will pay delegates – NPP MP

Alfred Obeng-Boateng, the NPP MP for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Constituency and former CEO of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), has declared that he possesses the financial resources to buy off party delegates in order to be retained in the party's upcoming parliamentary primaries.

He noted that he will stop at nothing to preserve his position in parliament and that he has millions of dollars stashed away for just this purpose. Since he is more than willing to spend twice as much as his rivals will pay the delegates, he has advised his competitors to get ready for a showdown.

“I am telling you that the money I will use for the primaries is in dollars and that money has been secured long ago, I must be frank with you. That is money I am not touching under any circumstance.

"So I laugh seeing all that they are doing, I have dollars there for that primaries. What I can tell my delegates is that I will pay more than double what anyone who will contest me will offer them, they should take that from me. If they come together and decide to pay GHC10,000 per delegate I will pay more than that."

"Whatever they pay, even if they pay GHC20,000 I will pay more than GHC20,000 because I know how much I have put there; I know how much I have reserved. That is why I saved in dollars so that the money will not lose value,” he body posited.

Guys, have you met this man? Have you ever exchanged a handshake with him? Have you ever had a conversation with him face-to-face? Have you looked into his eyes before? Have you ever gotten close enough to feel his aura?

My goodness!

This man is the epitome of virtue, modesty, humour, candour, humility, peace, empathy, intuition, and nobility. The excellent things you see, read and hear about him pale in comparison to what you experience when you encounter him. Such a pleasant personality.

Happy Birthday to you, sir. God bless you.

The African American writer, Richard Wright, took a trip to the Gold Coast (now, Ghana) in the run up to the country’s independence. He interviewed Dr J.B. Danquah. This is an excerpt from the interview, which Wright published originally in his 1954 book - “Black Power”:

WRIGHT: Why don't you try to win the masses to your side?

DANQUAH: Masses? I don't like this thing of masses. There are only individuals for me.

WRIGHT: But masses form the basis of political power in the modern world today.

DANQUAH: You believe that? I know you fellows dote on this thing of the masses. I've read that you claim that this mass unrest comes from the industrialization of the Western World.

WRIGHT: Why is it that you cannot appeal to the masses on the basis of their daily needs? You're a lawyer; you're used to representing - well, represent them - as we say in America. Be a mouthplece for them.

DANQUAH: I can't do things like that.

WRIGHT: It's the only road to power in modern society. No matter how deeply you reject it, it's true.

My husband came back home last week while I and the kids were in the living room watching a movie, he quickly sent them to bed

He then called me inside and knelt to start explaining that he had impregnated a woman who is threatening to ruin our marriage unless he agrees to send her abroad.

Upon calculating the cost involved, he felt we could use the money for ourselves and was therefore asking me to forgive him for cheating on me.

Now my problem is I don't know how to tell my husband that the woman is just a chronic liar. I am that confident because I know my husband is medically impotent. However, I am scared I'll lose my marriage if he gets to know that the kids at home are also not his."

What most people are forgetting in the divorce proceedings involving Hakimi’s case is that, now that Hakimi has barely nothing to his name, His wife, Hiba Abouk, the Spanish actress would have to be the one to legally settle him..
Legally she is now richer than him and by law she would have to settle his legal/court fees and still share 50/50 of her assets with him so now he gets 50% of her assets instead.

Don't Judge Anyone Especially if You Don't Know!

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery.

He answered the call asap, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.

He found the boy’s father going and coming in the hall waiting for the doctor. Once seeing him, the dad yelled:

“Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have the sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled and said:

“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came the fastest I could after receiving the call and now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily.

The doctor smiled again and replied:

“I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came and to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”.

Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go and intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”

“Giving advice when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,

“Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any question, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face:

“His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery.

And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

A sheep was passing and saw a lion crying inside a cage trapped, the lion begged the sheep to rescue him with a promise not to kill and eat it, but the sheep refused.. After much persuasion and for the sheep's gullibility, it opened the cage for the lion.

Now the lion was very hungry having stayed in the cage for days without food.. It quickly pounced on the sheep and was about to kill and eat it, but the sheep reminded him of his promise.
They were still there arguing when other animals came passing and they sought to know what happened.. Both the lion and the sheep narrated their own side of the story, but because of fear and in trying to gain Favour in the sight of the lion, all the animals took side with the lion except the Tortoise who claimed not to understand the whole scenario.

Now the Tortoise asked the lion to show them where exactly he was before the sheep rescued him, The lion pointed at the cage.. Tortoise asked again, "were you inside or outside when the sheep arrived"??... The lion replied, "I was inside".
The tortoise again asked, "Okay, enter and let’s see how difficult it could be inside bcoz I'm not getting the whole scenario".. The lion entered, and immediately, the tortoise locked the cage.. The lion was now trapped!!

In amazement, the other animals asked tortoise "why" and tortoise replied.. "If we allow him to eat the sheep today, He will still go hungry tomorrow and we don't know the next amongst us to be eaten tomorrow.!!

It’s 4:05am and we still in Parliament’s Chamber working since commencing proceedings at about 11am yesterday.

The latest update on the infamous GHS80million Cathedral allocation is a total removal from the final Appropriation Bill. Govt’s 2023 expenditure is therefore reduced by GHS80million.

We have also successfully cut the extravagant allocation to the notorious Contingency Vote from GHS1.4billion to GHS533million.

Some good savings for the struggling Ghanaian taxpayer.

NDC MPs both at the Foreign Affairs Committee & at plenary last night have effectively scuttled government’s 2023 plans to demolish the Accra International Conference Centre & construct a new one at a staggering €116million (GHS1.3billion).

We also successfully blocked proposals to open new Ghanaian embassies in Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago & Mexico.

Government cannot be defaulting on its loan obligations & imposing crude haircuts, particularly on pensions for the vulnerable aged & still be pursuing fanciful projects which can be deferred to better economic times in the future.

Two years ago, for the first time in the history of our country, a President and Government unleashed armed men who brutally killed eight (8) innocent Ghanaians including a child during voting and results collation.

In the last six years, Ghanaians have witnessed a reckless government that has taken a wrecking ball to our economy, leaving it in a very sorry state, rivalling some of the worst economies in the world.

Our dear beloved nation, Ghana, is in a worst state today than at any time in the history of the 4th Republic — high levels of corruption, hardships due to bad economic and financial policies, a hungry and angry people, loss of investments, no credible reforms etc.

But we are a strong people. We are creative and innovative. The Ghanaian does not give up and we won’t give up.

On behalf of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), myself as the 2020 Presidential Candidate, I want to thank all Ghanaians who two years ago sacrificed your time and went to the polls to vote for NDC’s Parliamentary candidates and I.

I also commend all Ghanaians who participated in the election exercise for their help in consolidating our democracy.

I, once again, extend our sympathies to the families of all who lost their lives and to the victims of all forms of violence perpetrated by the insensitive Nana Akufo-Addo administration.

The NDC has pledged that it will investigate these state-sponsored atrocities and apply sanctions to those found culpable. We will provide appropriate compensation for those who have lost lives and limb.
