Troll Teeth is back!... sort of.

James William Eccles, nickname of Moe, takes a break from writing heavy, fuzzy songs for the Philadelphia-area based band Troll Teeth, to focus on the acoustic songs written over the years. Some songs are semi-autobiographical while others are inspired by historical or philosophical books. The album, “Canterbury,” taking its name from Chaucer’s collection of short stories & parables, offers the same package of lessons learned over the years with the emotional & social intelligence developed from them. Familiar faces from Troll Teeth (Ben Dallackesia & Kyle Applebaum) lend support with additional instrumental parts.

We are happy to announce that the prolific Philadelphia based artist, Wax Mekanix, has returned with his latest single Silver Tongued Devil. Feeling like a shaky and snotty clarion call to the governed to put leadership on notice, Silver Tongued Devil is a hypnotic, throbbing, serrated, abrasive, and unsettling first-person account of the building tension as the USA once again flails toward a clash of ideologies in this generation's existential showdown.

This release includes a Bandcamp exclusive acoustic rendition, as well as an accompanying music video.

Soaring high above the mighty Schuylkill River, the illustrious Philadelphia based rock band The Stone Eye continues on their quest to create the ultimate song, a quest that very well could take a lifetime. Sporting a four man line-up featuring singer/guitarist Stephen Burdick, guitarist Jonah Etsy, bassist Jacob Mathis, and drummer Jeremiah Bertin, this core four have recorded what may be the bands grooviest track to date- House of Thieves. Blending up-tempo with drag, and alternative rock with modest amounts of swagger, The Stone Eye has crafted a tune that is bursting at the seams with what best can be described as ferocious personality.

As is with every release from The Stone Eye, the band tirelessly works behind the scenes honing in on the elegance of their craft. The shows continue, the music progresses, and the party grows in size. From us to you, we hope you enjoy our latest offering!

As Philadelphia’s titans of rock continue to push the envelope, you are invited to celebrate this new groovy side of The Stone Eye with their new single, Charlie the Stingray. Tasteful beats, funky melodies, and delectable bass lines carry this track from start to finish as the band finds themselves exploring their inner John Travolta. Furthermore, as an ode to fans of past releases, The Stone Eye also went ahead and included an acoustic re-imagining of one of their most popular singles, Raindrops.

Wax Mekanix returns with 'Shrew's Fiddle' the fourth single off of his 2023 record, Psychotomimetic. In the words of Wax Mekanix, Shrew’s Fiddle is Wax taking the red pill from Morpheus in The Matrix, and going down the rabbit hole. More specifically, he took it and followed John Lennon down the rabbit hole. The premise was…what if Wax co-wrote She Said with Lennon and Harrison for 66’s Revolver, what might that look like?
