Today we really had to pinch ourselves for the first time.
We still can't believe that we are in Athens and caught our first glimpse of the Acropolis and the Parthenon, whilst visiting the Temple of Zeus...! We can't wait to go back into the city and actually visit the Acropolis tomorrow or Monday.

Why are all the coolest castles, in the highest places..?!? Around 867 (Or 999 depending on who you believe) steps lead you to this castle/fortress. Boy were the views worth it. Or we could have driven up...🤷🏼‍♀️

Well s**t...! As if we haven't had enough stress over the last few months, this morning Bartemius had another vestibular attack. The poor boy is feeling very sorry for himself. His head tilt is back, his appetite is not great and he is walking like a 10 pint drunk. He is needing to p*e frequently, so we have moved slightly further away from our fellow campers tonight, in the hope that we don't keep waking them up every 30 minutes all through the night. Fingers crossed he will bounce back like he did last time and be back to his usual bubbly, loving everyone, adventurous self in a week or so.
Come on buddy, we can't take much more. 😭💜🤟

This week we visited the unusual Traditional Settlement of Tourlida, near Messolonghi, Greece. Really cute houses in the lagoon on stilts. They even had their own little chapel.
The colours were so appealing. 😍

Wish a huge Happy birthday to my Darren Taylor. My travelling adventure partner, my love, my bestest friend, my rock and my sanity. 🥴🤪
I can't thank you enough, for dragging me kicking and screaming through the last few months.

If we had been told when we first met as teenagers, that we would be spending your 54th birthday at the beach, having married and lived in a motorhome for a year, would we have believed them..?!? Probably not. It's complete insanity and totally us.

It may not be as warm as we had hoped, but it's GREEEEEEEEECE.
