I was SO terrified to split my brand—to make a WHOLE NEW YouTube channel, Instagram, and BLOG—in 2023?!

But now that the momentum is building, I know without a doubt it was the best decision. (In fact I have to resist making even more subsidiaries of my brand/online presence.)

Two years into my YouTube channel, I finally got monetized and the other day, I broke 8k subs.

This account just broke 1k followers after a year (despite me being VERY bad at posting here).

And the blog I started end of 2022 is starting to move—and I’m back to posting WEEKLY there so head on over if you prefer to read and skim for information on being a full time influencer vs watching a whole video.

Am I good at balancing both these brands?

Not *really*… but what is balance at the end of the day?

I may not be the most consistent on each brand on every platform… but I’m growing this one, reaching the people I want to reach, and still landing mind-blowing opportunities and getting paid on …

So for now, I’m happy with where we’re at.

Been sitting on this story for a WHILE. 🫣

Would you go on a reality tv show completion for the chance to fast-track your career? 👀

A year and a half ago, a weird chain of events had me SERIOUSLY considering an offer to go on a reality tv show competition for influencers.

The TL;DR is that it was NOT the right call for my career… because it really didn’t align with me or any of my business strategies and principles I had prided myself in maintaining up until that point.

But I was surprised by how appealing the whole thing was to me, all the same.

I FINALLY put together a video that summarizes my journey with the platform, what I love about it so much, and why I think it's the place to be for creators and brands alike. ⬇️

I'd probably still be at my 9-5 if I hadn't started creating on the platform, I wouldn't have a fraction of the community I do, nor a sliver of the confidence.
