Born to Dance, Forced to Run (Voices Productions ) follows Steeven Labady Marcel (Steeven Labady Marcel ) as he faces immigration barriers while pursuing his dream of becoming a professional dancer. After years of studying and crossing borders, he had to make the difficult choice again — moving to another country in search of safety as an immigrant looking for a better life.
Steeven’s story is every migrant story — people leaving home for a better life, and facing heartbreak along the way, but with their dream, commitment, and passion holding them together.
