After more than 10 months, I unfortunately sustained an injury due to a very close bombing. Both of my eyes were affected; my right eye is in very bad condition and requires a series of surgeries. My left eye suffered minor injuries, and my legs were also slightly injured. I now need continuous treatment to restore my health, particularly to regain clear vision. We have been forced to seek refuge in a tent in the city of Rafah, overlooking the sea where the cold is extremely severe. We are eight individuals literally sleeping on the ground, lacking the basic necessities of life such as blankets and clothes. My mother is suffering from thyroid cancer, heart problems, and osteoporosis, urgently in need of treatment.
