San Pedro 03/17/25:

A short vehicle pursuit ends in a traffic collision and prompts an LAPD perimeter in the area of Sepulveda and Centre Streets.

The known suspect is wanted on a felony warrant and considered to be armed and dangerous.

LAPD has the area locked down while searching for the suspect that fled on foot.

At least one other was injured in the collision that occurred on Santa Cruz Street and Pacific Avenue.

This is an active incident. Avoid the area until further notice.

Carson 03/17/25:

A SIG Alert is still in effect following a reported fatal motorcycle vs semi-truck collision that occurred on the 110 Northbound freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard.

L.A County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene shortly before 10 a.m. Upon arrival, LACoFD located a downed motorcycle rider in the number 4 lane who had succumbed to their injuries.

The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

It is said that an SUV also collided with the motorcycle rider.

This is still an active investigation that has shut down the number 3 and 4 lanes until further notice.

Wilmington 03/08/25:

Three ambulances are being requested after a pursuit ends in a collision on Lomita Boulevard and Marine Avenue.

An infant and mother are among those who are injured.

The suspect, approximately 25 years old, is still pinned in the vehicle.

This is an active incident. Please avoid the area as all directions are being shut down until further notice.

San Pedro 03/01/25:

A pedestrian is critically injured after being struck by a vehicle on Western and Weymouth Avenue.

Early reports indicated that the driver fled the scene, however we are unsure if this was confirmed when officers arrived.

The victim was transported in critical condition.

San Pedro Coast 02/24/25:

***Update: this is just a training operation for Coast Guard. No emergency.

LAFD is responding to a boat fire off the coast of San Pedro near Pount Fermin Park.

A boat has been observed with smoke showing.
LAFD is attempting to make contact via boat.

Air units have also dispatched and a Coast Guard helicopter is currently over the boat.

This is developing.

Wilmington 02/23/25:

Officer requesting back up while in foot pursuit of a man with a gun in the area of Bay View Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.

An officer has retrieved the gun and they are now setting up a perimeter.

This is active.

San Pedro 02/16/25:

An LAPD perimeter is being established in the area of Park Western Drive and Western Avenue for a robbery suspect.

US Currency and AirPods were stolen.

This is an active incident.

San Pedro 02/14/25:

At least one is struck in a shooting that has just occurred on the 100 block of North Aboles Court.

LAPD is on scene and requesting an ambulance for a male who has been shot in the thigh.

This is developing.

Wilmington 02/14/25:

A stolen vehicle has just collided with a building in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Watson Avenue.

Officers were in pursuit of the vehicle but lost it in the area.

A few moments later, the vehicle collided with a building.

Multiple citizens also reported hearing gunshots in the area at the same time.

A perimeter has been established in the area as they search for the suspect.

11/02/2025

Harbor City 02/11/25:

Officers are in foot pursuit of a man armed with a gun. The suspect is in the area of 257th and Belle Porte, running through houses with a gun in his hand.

This is active and developing.

Please avoid the area.

They are setting up containment on multiple streets including: Frampton, PCH, 256th and more.

Update: New information indicates that a suspect is now in custody.

Based on information we have received, it is sounding as though a shooting has occurred during this incident.

At this time, we are unsure if this was a use of non-lethal rounds or actual gunfire.

Officers have "casings" on scene.

11/02/2025

Wilmington 02/10/25:

LAPD is setting up a containment around (Friends of) Banning Park on PCH and Eubank; following multiple foot pursuits of armed suspects.

The incident began about 5 minutes ago when an officer went into foot pursuit of two suspects believed to be armed with guns.

One suspect was apprehended quickly and a firearm was recovered.

Additional suspects began running from the park when backup arrived.

At least one other is currently at gun point and another is still being sought.

LAPD is attempting to apprehend the rest of the group.

This is active and developing.

Wilmington 02/05/25:

LAPD officers are responding to a shooting that has just occurred at Wilmington Veteran's Park (Watson Avenue and Young Street).

One victim was struck in the leg.

It is currently unclear if this incident is related to the previous shooting that has occurred.

This is an active scene.

Wilmington 02/05/25:

LAPD is on scene of a shooting that has just occurred in the area of Lagoon Avenue near R Street.

Officers have located a male victim with a gunshot wound to the neck. The gun used was said to be a shotgun.

One report stated the victim was approximately 17 years old and a second report stated he was approximately 30 years old.

Suspect is still at large.

This is an active scene.

Wilmington 01/29/25:

LAPD is on scene of a stabbing that has just occurred at a Hot Dog stand. One female victim is being treated by LAFD.

The incident occurred around 4:15p in the area of Anaheim Street and Wilmington Boulevard.

A female suspect fled the scene with a kitchen knife.

26/01/2025

Harbor Gateway/Torrance 01/25/25:

LAPD is on scene of a large group fight that occurred at the Skyzone on 190th Street and Western Avenue. A caller stated as many as 40 individuals were involved. One person was also pepper sprayed.

Torrance PD has been notified as the group has crossed the street over to the Chik-Fil-A parking lot.

The call initially stated the group was wanted on ADW (Assault with deadly weapons), but now being downgraded to multiple batteries.

20/01/2025

110 Northbound Freeway:

A traffic accident involving multiple vehicles and a CHP officer has occurred on the 110 Northbound, shortly before the Anaheim Street exit in Wilmington.

A SIG alert has been issued for the number 3 and 4 lanes and will be closed until further notice.

Traffic was completely halted for several minutes, but has since resumed with two lanes.

Expect delays.

There is no information regarding the condition of the patients.

San Pedro 01/19/25:

LAPD is on scene of a shooting that has occurred in/near the parking lot of a bar on 11th Street and Pacific Avenue.

No victims were immediately located upon arrival, but evidence of a shooting has been found.

This is developing.

Harbor City 01/14/25:

LAFD is on scene of a traffic accident that has just occured in the area of 259th Street and Senator Avenue, involving a tractor-trailer that has ended up on its side.

There is one patient suffering from unknown injuries at this time.

San Pedro:

LAPD is on scene of a shooting that occurred in the area of 9th and Mesa Streets about 45 minutes ago.

There are currently no known victims but evidence of a shooting has been located.
