I have to be honest: I have a love-hate relationship with mirror work.
It’s a staple tool as Twin Flames and I couldn’t have gotten to Union without it, but sometimes I think we give it more power than we should.
Here are the things I love about it:
👍️ It honors the way Twin Flames work, and the unique energy connection Twin Flames share.
👍️ It’s a fantastic way to see something about yourself you wouldn’t see otherwise.
👍️It puts the power in your hands.
But on the other hand it’s also really easy to:
👎️ forget to leave room for other influences in the Twin Flame journey, like your soul plans or divine timing
👎️ give your reflection more power than just living and being yourself
👎️ Go into a self blame spiral
These are all things I’m mindful of when doing my mirror work, and when I’m working with a client and they are trying mirror work but seem to be getting burnt out, it’s typically because one of these three things.
Sometimes, once we let go of the need for mirror work and instead just focus on how you’re feeling and what’s going on, you see the needed shift, and then afterwords the mirror work falls back into place, but not because you forced anything.
Other times, the only way through is to sit with the mirror work until you figure it out.
How about you, are you team mirror work all the time or team mirror work as needed?
