Hokus Pokus LIVE is heading to Western Canada this September, bringing a campy live drag parody inspired by the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus to the stage.

The show stars drag royalty Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Sapphira Cristál and Landon Cider, with plenty of comedy, costumes and spooky-season chaos along the way

Located right downtown, has everything you want in a date night spot: an amazing atmosphere, games to get a little competitive over, and a menu made for sharing. ❤️

As for the cocktails, the Key to the Room was quite literally the key to our hearts, and we loved trying the Paigerific and their featured Strawberry Coconut Margarita too!

Owned by a group of longtime friends, this spot just has such a fun energy from the moment you walk in.

Picklefest Vancouver is returning on September 12, bringing a full day dedicated to all things pickled and fermented to the City Centre Artist Lodge.

Expect 40+ local vendors, food trucks, craft drinks, wine pairings and live music, plus the Pickle Showdown, where local home picklers will compete for the best dill, spicy, creative ferments and more.

Wine, shopping & a little Euro summer afternoon in Vancouver? Say less 🍷✨

Had the best time exploring South Granville for the GranVino Wine Walk! Wandering between some gorgeous local shops, discovered a few new favourites, tried some amazing local wines and ciders and, of course, did a little shopping along the way 🤭🛍️

One of my favourite things about living in Vancouver is finding new ways to explore different neighbourhoods, and this was such a fun excuse to spend the day in South Granville 🤍

Definitely keep these South Granville spots in mind for your next cute day out!

Public Disco is wrapping up its 2026 summer season with a free block party at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza on Saturday, August 29.

The eight-hour party will feature all-vinyl DJ sets, an expanded record market, vintage and thrift shopping, food trucks, pop-up bars and plenty of dancing right in the heart of downtown.

The singer, songwriter, actress and philanthropist died on today, Tuesday, August 25, her family confirmed in a statement.

Over a career spanning nearly six decades, Parton became one of the most recognizable figures in music, giving the world songs including “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You.” Her music sold more than 100 million records worldwide.

Her impact extended far beyond music. Through her Imagination Library, Parton helped provide free books to children, while her philanthropy supported education, disaster relief and medical research.

Sip some BC wine while supporting Summerland’s wildfire recovery 🍷❤️

Marquis Wine Cellars is hosting a Summerland Fire Relief Fundraiser on August 26, bringing Vancouver’s wine community together for an evening of tastings in support of Okanagan communities impacted by wildfire.

For a suggested $20 cash donation at the door, guests can taste wines from Haywire Winery, Solvero Wines, Pamplemousse Jus, Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards, Marquis Exclusives and more. 🍇

And your donation will go twice as far! Marquis Wine Cellars is matching the total amount raised.

Funds will be split equally between the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen’s Wildfire Response Fund, Central Okanagan Food Bank and Paws It Forward Dog Rescue.

Featured wines will also be available to purchase for 10% off, with snacks provided during the tasting.
