So my husband built this toilet paper holder and I'm dying 😂 He spent THREE HOURS measuring, cutting, and installing it like he was crafting the Crown Jewels. Meanwhile, I'm thinking "honey, it's toilet paper, not fine art." But he was so proud, posting progress pics in his woodworking groups on the Tedooo app, getting advice on the "perfect curve radius" for optimal roll dispensing. I didn't have the heart to tell him it looked like a fancy toilet paper limousine.
Plot twist: I actually love it now. It's the most extra thing in our bathroom and somehow that makes it perfect. Our guests always comment on it, and my husband gets this big grin like he's just been complimented on his Nobel Prize acceptance speech. The kids think we're the fanciest family in the neighborhood because we have a "toilet paper throne." Sometimes the most ridiculous projects bring the most joy - and yes, I'm ordering custom toilet paper holders from him for Christmas gifts this year! 🧻✨

So, my husband says, “I’ll be right back, I’m going to pick up a grill from someone who is giving it away for free.” I’m thinking, we have a brand new Weber at home, why do we need another grill? But off he goes. He comes back, not with a grill, but with this old stove top. I look at it and I'm like, "Really? What are we supposed to do with this piece of junk?" He grins and says, “Just wait and see. I’ve been inspired by some amazing crafters on the Tedooo app.” A few weekends of sawing, screwing, and some creative engineering later, here’s what the man did: He transformed that hunk of junk into an incredible outdoor cooking station! He built a sturdy wooden frame around it, added a shelf underneath for storage, and turned it into the perfect addition to our backyard. Now, we’ve got a custom, DIY stove that’s all set for our outdoor feasts. And to think I doubted him! Every time we use it, I’m reminded of his crafty skills.

My daughter just texted me this picture from her high school's "dress closet" and I'm sitting in my car crying in the Target parking lot.
She's been stressing about prom for months because we just can't afford a $300 dress right now. Between my hours getting cut and her dad being behind on support, we've been choosing between groceries and gas money most weeks. I kept telling her we'd figure something out, but inside I was panicking about disappointing her.
Then her guidance counselor told her about this program where local people donate formal dresses so every girl can go to prom. I had no idea our school even had something like this. She went in today feeling embarrassed and came out looking like an absolute princess in this gorgeous teal gown that fits her perfectly.
The text that came with the photo just said "Mom, I feel beautiful" and I lost it right there in aisle seven.
I've been selling some of my old jewelry and crafts on the Tedooo app to try scraping together extra money, but this dress would've taken me months to afford. Some stranger's generosity just saved my daughter's prom and my sanity.
Looking at her face in that mirror, seeing her stand up straight and smile like that - this is what every mom wants for her kid. To feel special, to feel worthy, to feel like she belongs.
I don't know who donated that dress, but they just gave my daughter something priceless. Sometimes angels show up in the form of strangers cleaning out their closets.

So, my husband says “ I’ll be right back, I’m going to pick up a grill from someone who is giving it away for free”......ummmm, we have a brand new Weber! Our cat used to sleep exclusively in cardboard boxes.
Like, aggressively. We bought her an actual bed once, she slept next to it inside an Amazon box that still had tape on it. So, naturally, we gave up.
And then. Last summer.
We took her with us to the countryside where we help out on a small family-run apiary. Yes. A bee farm. Don’t ask.
And I swear to you on my best mixing bowl, she had a full spiritual awakening.
She would lie in the sun next to the hives like some kind of honey priestess, purred louder around bees, rolled in the grass like it was catnip grown by angels.
We have never seen her like that.
So for her third birthday (yes, we celebrate it, no, we’re not sorry), my husband had this unhinged idea:
“What if we get her a honey pot bed?”
I laughed. He didn’t.
He found a crafter through one of the groups here, a woman on the Tedooo app who makes custom handmade beds for pets (because of course that exists), and messaged her with this ridiculous dream.
She responded: “I can do that. Also… would you like me to thread the seams with dried catnip-infused cotton? It helps some animals feel calm.”
I don’t even remember saying yes. I just blacked out from joy.
One month later, this arrived.
A plush, honey-pot-shaped cat bed. With little embroidered drips. And a soft golden "spill" for her head. Y’all.
She. Has. Not. Left. It.
She moved in. This is her house now.
She sleeps like she’s protecting a secret recipe.
She guards it like Pooh in his prime.
And yes, sometimes she hums. I’m not kidding.
So I just wanted to say: The world is absolutely nuts sometimes.
But somewhere out there is a woman sewing catnip-threaded honey pots by hand because one man wanted to make his cat feel like she was back on the bee farm.
And that’s… honestly beautiful.

“had such an eyesore next to my vegetable garden, (propane tank) Called my l.p. company and asked if I could paint it. She informed me, if we own the tank we can paint it. Also, if it gets more than 8 hours of 🌞 sun you can only paint with a light color. Well, lucky for us we live in the woods and my tank only gets 4-5 hours of sun. I also was told to use metal paint, Rustoleum paint brand, is the popular brand, Ace metal paint is $20.00 less a gallon, and worked great!”
I got my idea from the Tedooo app!!❤ So happy how it turned out!!🍉🐞🍉
