‼️ I Was Sexually Harassed at Econsave Seremban Forest Heights‼️
I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing this to raise awareness and to make sure no other woman has to go through what I experienced today.
This afternoon, I went to Econsave with my mom to grab a few things and do some gift wrapping. While I was near the counter, a Bangladeshi worker was standing in the way. I politely said, “Excuse me, bhaiya,” and smiled.
But the way he looked at me directly at my chest it felt disgusting. Like he wanted to eat me alive. I ignored it and walked away.
But then, as I turned around to pick up the wrapper, he slapped and grabbed my butt and walked off like nothing happened.
I was in shock. I shouted at him. I confronted him. My mom even ran after him and tried to stop him in the parking lot. You know what he did? He denied everything.
This happened in broad daylight. In a public place. With people around. And yet no one helped.
And to those who still blame women for how they dress stop it.
I was wearing a long dress below my knees. There was nothing revealing or “sexy” about it. This is not about how women dress. It’s about how some men choose to behave.
To every girl in Seremban please be careful.
We shouldn’t have to live like this, but if it happens, please speak up. Don’t suffer in silence.
This is not okay. I’m not staying silent.
If you’ve ever experienced anything like this, know this:
Your voice matters. Your safety matters. You have every right to speak up.
Enough is enough.
