⛈️ INCREASED CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER ⛈️

Chances have slightly increased for severe weather in our area tomorrow afternoon (9/5/25). While Muhlenberg County remains in a “Marginal” risk category, the “Slight” risk has shifted west to our southeastern county line. Damaging winds and large hail cannot be ruled out, and are expected with these storms. Take any precautions tonight or tomorrow morning to secure outdoor items, protect vehicles and other important items. Remain weather aware and take any watches or warnings seriously.

MARGINAL (level 1 of 5) risk for severe storms later FRI afternoon/early evening across the southeast half of . Scattered storms will develop FRI afternoon with isolated damaging wind/large hail the main concerns (highest chances across Muhlenberg & Ohio counties).

⛈️ CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER ⛈️

The National Weather Service currently has Muhlenberg County under a “Marginal” risk of severe weather for tomorrow, September 5th, 2025.

Scattered thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and isolated large hail are expected across parts of the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys into the Central Appalachians on Friday.

Remain weather aware for tomorrow. We will share more information as we receive it.
