And just like that the year of Hamma 40/50 is over!! We raised a HUGE £7,893.88!!! For Weston Park Cancer Charity!

So proud of everyone involved this is a massive achievement!

💕💕💕 As we’ve previously said this journey was never about us. It wasn’t just about honouring Emma’s Mother Beryl and Hannah’s Father Tony, who they lost to cancer. It was about making a difference.

Over the last year it’s taken a whole tribe to do and achieve what we have, so this month we wanted our Hamma event to be about an amazing friend of ours who has been through so much and experienced some horrendous circumstances while battling cancer!!

We started off by plotting a girly get away, decorated the house and hid pressies around the house. We each had to make a cocktail (some good….. some not so good) We had non stop laughs and we also cried over hearing our dear friends story. We were hit with all the emotions and reminded why we’re raising money for Weston Park Cancer Charity this charity offers so much support to so many like our friend.

Wow!!! Honestly we’re so blown away!!!! So far we’ve reached £7253!!!

We’ve said from the very beginning that this was never about two people raising money it’s been about the Hamma 40/50 tribe! So many lovely people supporting, cheering us on and doing everything they can to help raise the money!!

Massive thank you to Lindsey Quigley, Jo Stevens, Florence Clark & Rachel Hilton in particular for helping our target by joining us on the skydive 🪂

💕💕💕 Octobers Hamma Event 💕💕💕

Emma & Hannah along with their loved ones had a family photoshoot to capture some special memories for their birthday year in which they turned 50 & 40!!

Lots of giggles and some absolutely stunning pictures at the end! Who knew we were as flexible as we were 😂

A HUGE thank you to Karen at KHaine Photography Ltd in Sheffield for having us and helping to make the whole experience so special!!

The weather held for us for our walk up Winn Hill followed by drinks at Secretshelf.

The fabulous people of Laneside Caravan and Camping Park helped us raise £80 to add to our total by drinking generously.

Fancy a walk?

On Saturday 28th September we'll be walking up Winn Hill. It's about a 2 hour round trip and suitable for kids and dogs.

Afterwards Secretshelf will be at Laneside Caravan and Camping Park where you can enjoy a well earned pint, cocktail or mocktail with 10% of all takings going to Weston Park Cancer Charity.

There a a couple of vacancies left if anyone fancies booking to camp with us Friday and Saturday.

We'll be meeting at the Yorkshire Bridge pub at 11am.

Feel free to give us a shout if you want more details or just turn up on the day.

For anyone bringing their kids why not ask them to get their friends and family to sponsor them and help us raise even more money?

Fabulous night at Owlerton Greyhound Stadium, Sheffield. We had a couple of winners which is always a great result!!!

The food was top tier and the company was even better!! We may or may not of headed to the casino after all the races money 😜
