They put on a wonderful event this weekend with headline speaker and Journalist Megan Basham (The Daily Wire). It's always an honor to be around so many folks who value honesty, transparency, and all the other aspects of true conservatism for our state and country.

An encouraging night for Conservatives to focus, connect & recommit at the Tennessee Stands event! Let's get to work!

Seems to leave homeschoolers out and the rest of the details are more ironed out than they were earlier this year. So is it better than previous school choice legislation in TN? Yes. Do I want it? No. Creating new public benefit programs is always a messy business and this bill is certainly messy if you ask me.

Had a great time hanging out with Jethro Swanson on Defense of the Indefensible! Despite our inevitable connection issues with him being in Canada and me being in rural TN, it still turned out to be a wonderful and deep conversation from where I’m standing.

Go check it out on YouTube and show Jethro’s show some love! He’s got such a great interviewing presence and although we have different views on a lot of things he’s someone who doesn’t shut those with opposing views down, and we definitely approve of that around here!

I know this is kind of a heated topic, but I just don’t think we should be this upset with people who won’t pick a side or pick a side we don’t like… Personally, I think the question is how does the United States getting involved on either side of things benefit or harm our country? What is the better financial decision for our country? Maybe it will be financially/relationally beneficial in the long run for us to back Israel. Maybe it won’t be. I don’t know the answer to that, maybe you do, but I’m not pushing a particular stance on this issue besides encouraging people to think rationally instead of emotionally.
