📢新的一年,你还是月光族?
New Year, new goals 😎
But have you thought about your financial health goals? 😳
I want to share with you 💲 4 Financial New Year's Resolutions 💲
1. Know Your Motivation 💪🏻💪🏻
Find what can consistently push you to hold on to your resolutions. Maybe it's a new car? Maybe a new laptop for your daughter? A family trip with your parents? A diamond ring for your future wife? Or to pay for your off-campus study fees?
2. Plan your Budget
Try following this rule of thumb
10% post-retirement fund
💡50-55% daily expenses
💡10% long term savings
💡5-10% education
💡10% entertainment
💡5-10% charitable contribution
3. Review your life insurance needs ☂
Seek professional advice about how much protection you need, and compare it to the coverage that you already have. It is entirely not wise to finish 30 years saving for only one illness or heavy hospital bill to finish it all.
4. Save for your Retirement 🧓🏻👴🏻
No one wants to work till their grave. Look for an instrument which will grow higher than inflation rate, need not high returns. The key point: it must be a stable retirement fund, so it mustn't be high risk.
Alternatively, can go for 2 in 1 post-retirement plan from insurance companies that offer both protection and retirement fund.
