I have been doing a series of shows on "Somewhere In Time with Jeff Hyman" about what I call "The Poets", referring to some of the most prolific and awesome singer/songwriters of our time. Today, Episode 3. One which you will not want to miss. 14 of the greatest.

Today on Somewhere In Time with Jeff Hyman., The music of the 60's was beyond innovative. The change began with the "Big Bang", AKA The Beatles, and music has been constantly changing ever since. Here are my favorites from that iconic era. Tune in at www.mkbindepenbdentradio.com at noon Pacific, 3:00PM Eastern and 8:00PM UK.

Katherine Dines: For years, people have asked me to create books for children that would accompany my songs. And since many of my songs are lyrical stories, I've finally decided to take the plunge. Blood, It Runs From Your Head to Your Toes, is the very first Hunkta Bunkta story songbook and is dedicated to all those who are afraid of blood or monsters. Of course, Dracula is the main character, and what better way to make a scary character seem more friendly than having him throw a party for his monstrous friends?

Summitted for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella, The String Revolution's "America," from West Side Story, features the unmistakable talents of 5x Grammy® nominated sax player Lakecia Benjamin, Grammy® nominated Luis Conte on percussion, and Byron House on upright bass. At its core, this version adds rich musical textures and dynamic energy to an American classic, creating a deeply universal conversation around the shared collective experience of having to constantly adjust to the rhythms of modern life.

Lili Haydn: With the world falling apart and the music business upside down, the only album I felt I had to make was inspired by the music I’ve played for people as they’ve passed from this world. So when my dearest friend and longtime collaborator Paul Cantelon, brilliant Pianist and composer, lost his wife last year, I knew we had to make this record together. It’s titled Lullabies for the Brokenhearted. Here’s our page. Thank you for listening, and please send me your FYC too! I'm listening! With love and gratitude, Lili

Let Me Be Water is a powerful percussive meditation created through the collective vision of more than 40 women and gender-expansive songwriters and producers. At its core, Madame Gandhi incorporated sounds of melting glaciers in Antarctica, captured using custom-built hydrophones she designed herself. The piece fuses music, environmental awareness, and social activism, with all streaming royalties dedicated to supporting nature conservation.

FYC – Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album. "Liquid Mind XV: In The Love" is the latest release in composer Chuck Wild’s deeply personal musical journey, the Liquid Mind series — music designed for healing, relaxation, and sleep. Co-produced by Jonathan Marozik, it reflects love’s power to unify and heal. Love can arise in a quiet moment, a kind gesture, by being of service, or simply being present for someone. This album is a gentle reminder that we are never truly without love.
