The Sloya Administration has shown great commitment by prioritizing school development, ensuring both learners and teachers enjoy a safe and conducive environment. The new ablution block at Ivona Primary stands as a symbol of progress and care, reflecting a shared vision of a cleaner, healthier, and more supportive learning space.

This development greatly improves hygiene and comfort for pupils, allowing them to focus better on their studies while teachers work in a more positive atmosphere. It’s a clear sign that the administration is dedicated to creating a thriving, well-rounded school environment.

We are in an era where education is centred on competencies and practical skills. To prepare learners for the future, schools must be equipped with modern resources that support hands-on learning and innovation.

At Lusengeli Secondary School, the completion of the new modern laboratory marks a major milestone. This facility will give students the opportunity to explore, experiment, and put theory into practice, an essential shift from mere memorization to real understanding.

This investment is not just in infrastructure, but in the dreams and potential of our learners. With this laboratory, we are shaping a generation that is ready to solve problems, create solutions, and compete globally.

On this special day of Mashujaa, we the people of Sabatia honor the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, the Father of Democracy in Kenya. His courage, sacrifice, and commitment to justice and equality shaped our nation and inspired generations to stand for what is right.

Raila taught us that democracy is not a gift but a duty; one that demands unity, truth, and service to others. His vision for a free and fair Kenya continues to guide us.

Today, we emulate his wisdom and strength. We envy his courage and celebrate him as our true hero; a shining light of hope and justice for all.

Thank you William Samoei Ruto for according our hero such great honor and a truly befitting send-off.

Through a delegation led by C.M. Mr Mugadi Kim Donwell representing Hon. Clement Sloya, Mama Kezia Imali Musozi from Bubasi village can finally smile again after losing her house to a devastating fire. Her new home, rebuilt through the MP’s support, stands as a powerful symbol of restoration and kindness. The joy on her face told a story of renewed hope, a reminder that true leadership is felt most in moments of hardship.

The entire Bubasi community joined in celebration, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate gesture. Residents described the act as a shining example of unity and care, praising the MP for walking the talk in serving his people. Many said the move had not only rebuilt a home but also restored the community’s faith in the power of standing together.

Friday, 10th October 2025 – Mmbesu Village, North Maragoli Ward, Sabatia

Team Sloya, under the stewardship of the Constituency Manager Mugadi Kim Donwell paid a visit to the family of Mr. Luvai, who tragically lost two sons aged 20 and 11, leaving behind a 15-year-old daughter nursing injuries after a lightning strike on Monday.

It was a sombre moment listening to the heartbreaking ordeal the family went through following the calamity. We continue to stand with them in prayer for strength, comfort, and speedy acceptance during this difficult time.

As a matter of urgency, the Office of the MP facilitated the family’s registration under the Social Health Authority (SHA) and settled a full-year premium to ensure that the injured daughter receives the best medical care and achieves full recovery. Additionally, the office has committed to supporting her return to school, as she had earlier dropped out in Form Two due to lack of fees.

To help the bereaved family begin burial preparations and ease the immediate burden, we also extended our support towards kickstarting the funeral arrangements.

Together, we remain united in compassion and action; standing with our people in moments of grief and need.
