She is happy, comfortable, and at peace. Mama Ajema’s smile says it all after her house was renovated, bringing her renewed dignity and hope.

The transformation, made possible through the support of Mheshimiwa Clement Sloya, has given her a safer and more welcoming place to call home.

Mheshimiwa Sloya believes that for one’s daily activities to thrive, the environment they come from must be decent, supportive, and comfortable.

Let us do this for God and for the community. Together, we can uplift lives and restore dignit

The upgrading of the Chavakali–Eregi Junction–Lusiola Road to bitumen standard is set to become a reality as engineers from KERRA conduct surveys, allocate beacons, and clearly map the road today. This marks a major step toward transforming a long-awaited project.

For years, the road has been a major obstacle to users and nearby residents, causing inconvenience and slowing movement. The ongoing survey brings renewed hope to the community.

Through the intervention of Hon. Sloyas’ administration, the project has gained momentum and direction. Local leadership has played a key role in pushing the matter forward.

Under the Kenya Kwanza government led by President William Ruto, a lasting solution is now in sight. Soon, smiles will replace frustration as development takes shape.

Sabatia Technical and Vocational College, established in 2016, is rapidly growing into a key center of skills development within our community. The institution continues to expand its capacity to empower more young people with practical and market-driven knowledge.

Today, a site handing-over ceremony was held for the construction of a modern 340-bed capacity modern hostel at the college. The event was graced by key leaders including Mr. Mugadi on behalf of MP Hon. Clement L. Sloya the Director of Housing Program in Vihiga County, CECM Housing and Urban Planning Prof. Iravo, the Deputy County Commissioner, the school principal, local administration, and other stakeholders.

During the engagement, the constituency manager Kim Donwel Mugadi emphasized the need for professionalism from the contractor to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery. A well-built hostel will not only offer safe and affordable accommodation for students but also boost enrollment and enhance learning conditions.

We sincerely appreciate His Excellency the President and the national government for supporting this crucial initiative. Their commitment to technical training continues to open doors of opportunity for our youth and drive economic growth in Sabatia and beyond.

As the festive season begins, we are reminded of the importance of standing with families facing hardship, offering encouragement, and extending compassion. It is in these moments that the true spirit of community shines brightest.

Earlier today, the constituency manager, Mugadi Kim Donwell and his team; courtesy of Hon. Sloya, brought hope to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Lugalia of Endeli Village in Lyaduywa Izava Ward by constructing a new house after their previous home was destroyed by fire. Their act of kindness restored not just shelter, but dignity and comfort.

Hon Clement L. Sloya emphasizes his commitment to bringing joy to those struggling in difficult times, reminding us that unity and care are what hold society together. Through such efforts, the community continues to live in harmony, lifting one another with love and support.

Residents of Lusaala Village in Chavakali Ward are celebrating after more than 176 homesteads were connected to electricity through the rural electrification programme. After years of darkness, the community can now enjoy safer and brighter evenings.

The programme, recently launched by President William Samoei Ruto with a KSh 164 million boost, will soon extend to other villages where mapping is already complete. More households across the constituency are set to benefit as the rollout continues.

Hon. Sloya’s administration has continued to make bold strides in uplifting the education sector across the constituency, with Friends School Mbale Primary standing out as a clear example of this transformation. For years, inadequate and aging structures limited effective learning, but the new Junior Secondary School classrooms now paint a different picture. Modern, spacious, and equipped with terrazzo floors, these classrooms signal the beginning of a new era for learners and teachers alike.

In just three years, the administration has demonstrated an unprecedented commitment to improving education infrastructure. Funds have been set aside for the construction of at least six-storey buildings in various primary schools, an achievement never realized since the inception of the NG-CDG program. This bold investment reflects a deliberate effort to meet the growing demand for quality learning spaces and to equip schools with facilities that match modern educational needs.

Beyond classroom construction, the administration has prioritized sanitation and school environment. A significant number of ablution blocks have been built, while numerous classroom blocks across the constituency have undergone renovation. These improvements are not only enhancing hygiene and safety but also restoring dignity and confidence among learners, boosting their overall academic engagement.

With 98 public primary schools spread across the constituency, Hon. Sloya’s administration continues to work tirelessly to ensure each one attains a conducive learning environment. The progress at Friends School Mbale Primary serves as a powerful case study; proof that focused leadership, strategic investment, and a passion for education can turn around the fortunes of an entire community.

With these modern offices, chiefs and their assistants now work in comfortable spaces that enhance their morale and dignity. The improved working conditions have also encouraged better interaction between officers and the public.
