💗 This week on the podcast, we’re joined by Ava Biggs and Stephanie Garner to share the story of the April Nicole Foundation.

🌸 April Biggs’ battle with breast cancer reshaped her life—and her vision for others. She believed life was more than a 9-5 job; it was about joy, memories, and love. Today, her legacy continues as the Foundation supports women in NEA who are raising kids while fighting breast cancer.

🎙 Stephanie, diagnosed at just 39, shares her own powerful journey and the hope she’s found in the fight. Together, she and Ava remind us that while grief is unavoidable, it can make us better, not bitter—and that community makes all the difference.

🇺🇸 Never Forget. 🎧
On this day of remembrance, we want to encourage you to go back and listen to one of our most unforgettable Paragould Podcast episodes—with Michael Tolson, owner of Chow here in town.

Michael’s story is nothing short of remarkable. He’s one of the only people we know who has personally lived through three major national and international tragedies:

🕊️ The Oklahoma City Bombing
🌪️ A life-threatening hurricane in the Caribbean
🗽 And most notably today… he was in New York City during 9/11

His reflections are raw, sobering, and full of wisdom.

🎙️ New Episode Coming Soon! 🎳

This week on the Paragould Podcast we sat down with Chris Moyer, owner of Let’s Roll Paragould!

Chris grew up in the Poconos of Pennsylvania and has been around bowling almost his whole life—starting in a league at age 5, earning a college scholarship through the sport, and rolling his first 300 game at just 17. He came to Paragould in 2011 as the GM of our local bowling alley, helping transform it from an “unsupervised daycare” vibe into a respected community spot.

Following a devastating fire in 2016 at Paragould Bowl, Chris went on to become the owner of the Pro Shop at Hijinx—Chris’s story is full of resilience, vision, and the belief that “a lot of things in life are more mindset than logistics.”

Oh, and before we hit record, we got to check out his sweet Cybertruck 👀⚡️ (pics with Jared and Chris included!)

🎧 Don’t miss this episode as we roll into the story behind Paragould’s favorite bowling hangout.

Clarke shares why relationships of trust outlive positions, the difference between equal and fair, and why every student should develop a skill people will pay for. We also discuss the shift from “vocational ed” to college-prep and his favorite line about mastery: practice until you can’t get it wrong. 🛠️

And you’ll hear one of the wildest unsolved mysteries you’ve ever heard from 30 years ago—plus tender wisdom on grief, healing, and keeping communication open with the people you love. ❤️
