Now accepting ARC reader applications. This is the 5th book in the Livvy Mercer Mysteries series. You don't need to have read the previous books but they are in KU if you want to get caught up.

Livvy Mercer, the crime-solving bartender, took the case to get an old woman's savings back. She found the scammer dead, with her own corkscrew in his neck, and every piece of the frame pointing at her. Someone spent weeks setting this up, and when the frame does not take, they are coming for her in person.

ARC Copies go out on 9/14. Book releases 10/2. Not all applicants will be selected.

Years of making training films for the FBI taught me two things: how investigators actually think, and that somebody is definitely reading my search history.

It's fine. It's research. Probably.

What's the most suspicious thing YOU'VE ever googled for completely innocent reasons? 👇

Sugar Palms, Arizona. Population 475.

One abandoned resort nobody will go near. One murder nobody solved. The kind of town where everybody knows everybody — and everybody's hiding something.

Would you last a week there? Summer Chamberlain didn't get a choice.

The Turquoise Mist Thrillers start there. Four books, all complete, every secret dug up by the finale: https://www.brettmonk.com/turquoise-mist-series/
