វេជ្ជបណ្ឌិត គួច ម៉េងលី ៖ សារដាស់តឿនពីអ្នករស់រានមានជីវិត៖ ធម្មជាតិដ៏សាហាវ និងឃោរឃៅរបស់សៀមចំពោះប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា - ការរម្លឹកកុំឱ្យជឿលើពួកគេ។
ក្នុងនាមខ្ញុំជាអ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតម្នាក់ពីព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ដ៏រន្ធត់ដែលកើតឡើងក្រោយការដួលរលំនៃរបបខ្មែរក្រហមក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៩ ខ្ញុំនិយាយនេះមិនមែនចេញពីការនិយាយតៗគ្នាទេ ប៉ុន្តែពីបទពិសោធផ្ទាល់របស់ខ្ញុំ។ ខ្ញុំបានឆ្លងកាត់ដោយខ្លួនឯង និងឃើញដោយផ្ទាល់ភ្នែកនូវទង្វើដ៏ឃោរឃៅ ព្រៃផ្សៃ ដែលធ្វើបាបដោយប្រជាជន និងអាជ្ញាធរសៀមមកលើជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាដែលកំពុងអស់សង្ឃឹម និងស្វែងរកសុវត្ថិភាព សេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរ បន្ទាប់ពីសង្គ្រាមស៊ីវិល និងអំពើប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍អស់ជាច្រើនឆ្នាំ។
នៅខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៩ រដ្ឋាភិបាលសៀមបានបណ្តេញជនភៀសខ្លួនខ្មែររាប់សែននាក់ដោយចេតនា និងដោយបង្ខំ រួមទាំងខ្លួនខ្ញុំ និងក្រុមគ្រួសារខ្ញុំផងដែរ ដោយរុញច្រានពួកយើងឱ្យត្រឡប់ទៅវិញតាមជម្រាលថ្មភ្នំដងរែក។ ទង្វើដ៏ព្រៃផ្សៃ និងគ្មានបេះដូងនេះបានធ្វើទុក្ខទោសដល់បុរស ស្ត្រី និងកុមារស្លូតត្រង់រាប់ម៉ឺននាក់ឱ្យស្លាប់ដោយសារការបាញ់គ្រាប់កាំភ្លើង គ្រាប់មីន ការអត់ឃ្លាន ជំងឺ និងការហត់នឿយ។ ជម្រាលភ្នំដ៏ចោទនោះបានក្លាយជាទីបញ្ចុះសពសម្រាប់ប្រជាជនរបស់យើង ជាសោកនាដកម្មរបស់មនុស្សដែលរៀបចំឡើងដោយអ្នកដែលគ្មានសេចក្ដីមេត្ដាករុណា។
ភាពឃោរឃៅមិនបានបញ្ចប់នៅទីនោះទេ។ កំលុងពេលជាច្រើនឆ្នាំក្រោយមក នៅជំរំតាមព្រំដែន ដូចជា ជំរំណងចាន់ និងខៅអ៊ីដាង ការឈឺចាប់នៅតែបន្តទៀត។ អាជ្ញាធរសៀម ដោយប្រើល្បិចកល បានធ្វើបាបជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាជាប្រព័ន្ធ។ យើងត្រូវបានបង្អត់អាហារ វាយដំ ធ្វើឱ្យអាម៉ាស និងរំលោភបំពានយ៉ាងរ៉ាំរ៉ៃក្រោមការត្រួតត្រារបស់ពួកគេ។ ការណ៍នេះមិនមែនជាអំពើឃោរឃៅដោយចៃដន្យទេ វាជាគោលនយោបាយដោយចេតនាដែលចាក់ឫសលើការមិនឱ្យតម្លៃយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរចំពោះជីវិត និងសេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូររបស់មនុស្ស។
ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រមិនត្រូវភ្លេចឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្មទាំងនេះទេ។ ពិភពលោកត្រូវតែចងចាំនូវអំពើដ៏ឃោរឃៅ និងគោលនយោបាយអមនុស្សធម៌ ដែលសៀមបានដាក់មកលើប្រជាជាតិមួយដែលបានបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញរួចហើយ។ ពួកគេបានបំភាន់ការពិត លុបបំបាត់កំហុស ហើយបង្ហាញខ្លួនឯងថាជាមនុស្សអព្យាក្រឹត ដែលការណ៍ពិត សកម្មភាពរបស់ពួកគេបាននាំមកនូវការស្លាប់ និងការឈឺចាប់កាន់តែច្រើនដល់ប្រជាជនដែលបានរងគ្រោះរួចទៅហើយ។
សម្រាប់មនុស្សជំនាន់ក្រោយ៖ កុំឆោតល្ងង់ស្លូតត្រង់ក្នុងការជឿទុកចិត្តគេពេក។ សូមឱ្យប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រនេះជាការរម្លឹកជានិច្ចថា នៅក្រោមការទូត និងស្នាមញញឹម អាចមានចេតនាបោកប្រាស់ និងបោកបញ្ឆោត។ សម្រាប់យើងដែលនៅរស់រានមានជីវិត យើងមានស្លាកស្នាមមិនត្រឹមតែនៅលើដងខ្លួនប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែនៅក្នុងការចងចាំរបស់យើងផងដែរ ហើយយើងនឹងមិនអាចភ្លេចបានឡើយ៕
A Survivor’s Warning: The Cruel and Ruthless Nature of the Siamese Toward Cambodians – A Reminder Never to Trust Them
As a survivor of the horrific events that followed the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime in 1979, I speak not from hearsay, but from lived experience. I witnessed firsthand the cruel, savage, and ruthless treatment inflicted by the Siamese people and authorities upon desperate Cambodian refugees who sought only safety and dignity after years of civil war and genocide.
In June 1979, the Siamese government forcefully and deliberately expelled thousands of Cambodian refugees, including myself, by pushing us back through the treacherous cliffs of Dangrek Mountain. This calculated and heartless act condemned tens of thousands of innocent men, women, and children to death by landmines, starvation, disease, and exhaustion. The cliffs became a graveyard for our people—a human tragedy orchestrated by those who showed no mercy.
The cruelty did not end there. In the years that followed, in border camps such as Norng Chan and Khao I Dang, the suffering continued. The Siamese authorities, with their cunning and manipulative tactics, systematically mistreated Cambodian refugees. We were starved, beaten, humiliated, and chronically abused under their watch. These were not random acts of cruelty—they were deliberate policies rooted in a savage disregard for human life and dignity.
History must never forget these crimes. The world must remember the ruthless behavior and inhumane policies the Siamese imposed upon a nation already devastated. They twisted facts, erased guilt, and portrayed themselves as neutral—when in truth, their actions brought more death and pain to a wounded people.
To future generations: never be naïve in your trust. Let this history be a solemn reminder that beneath diplomacy and smiles, there may lie cunning intentions and manipulative motives. For those of us who survived, we carry the scars—not just in body, but in memory. And we will never forget.
