Using taxpayers money to fund a marketing campaign to tell brands to cut marketing budgets?

Surely not my government.

The taxpayer-funded campaign will encourage brands to divert marketing spend into cutting prices, with businesses introducing such measures invited to add the campaign name and logo to their branding.

It was an absolute bucket-list honour to be invited to Social Media Week Warsaw to present on the international stage on the power of advocacy on social media.

I met so many kind, friendly and knowledgeable people with brilliant ideas, and I’d like to thank the organisers for making me feel so welcome and keeping me out of the 30 degree heat for as long as possible.

I’d like to thank Rafał Gajdosz for looking after us all, and for Piotr Chmielewski for running such an interesting and diverse bill, and Łukasz Cioch for hosting it.

I’m case you were concerned about :

🔘 The app is not harvesting your data any more than Instagram and many other apps are. Remember: data is currency, and only download apps you feel comfortable with sharing information with.

🔘 It is not sending data to Russia. The AWS and Azure servers are based in the US. The dev team comes from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The founder doesn’t currently live in Russia.

There's little evidence to suggest that this app is any more invasive in its collection of user data than other apps.

Tip of the day: Don't just think about your target audience as amorphous 'segments' - research and create
a persona made up of the (well researched) typical behaviours of your customers.

Give them a name, list their behaviours, and market to that 'persona'.
