A World of Lies and Deception
Deception has been common throughout history and has been branded different names over many centuries. One if these branded names is called "Forgery."
In the ancient past, it was done mostly using manual writings and drawings on papyrus, clay or stones with skills and patience, but now technology has taken over, especially AI, which has made it easier, thereby raising questions about what is real and what is fake.
According to Professor Bart D. Ehrman, in one of his best-selling books titled "Forged", he explained that one of the most famous examples of forgery is the so called "Diaries of Adolf Hi**er and these were believed to be real by Hugh Trevor Roper, a respected British historian. These diaries were bought for millions by Stern magazine in Germany and later by Rupert Murdoch for publishing in English.
But soon after, experts discovered they were complete forgeries and the man behind them was Konrad Kujau (a German forger). Even before his biggest trick, his friends jokingly called him Connie...
