Understanding nutrition labels is key to making healthier choices! 🥗 Here are 5 essential things to look for on nutrition labels:
1. Serving Size: Know how much you're actually eating.
2. Trans Fats: Avoid these unhealthy fats for a healthier heart.
3. Total Carbohydrates: Monitor your intake for balanced energy.
4. Dietary Fiber: Aim for high fiber for better digestion.
5. Added Sugars: Keep these in check to maintain a healthy diet.
Additionally, make sure to look at the names of the ingredients, is it ingredients you can pronounce? Is the list mostly things like artificial sweeteners and preservatives? All these components are essential to understand what you are putting in your body!
