I haven't posted in a while, sorry ya'll.

I have an exciting story to share. We picked up a wonderful couple last weekend and the husband recommended that I reach out to this design company he uses. I did and they have added me to their pool of designers they plan to use. God is so good.

We has such an amazing ride and day.

We just picked up a passenger, whom was blind, going to a tandem bike ride event. She had two captains cancel so we volunteered to help out. We had a blast.

God is good. This was a much needed break.

Well... We had another first.

Before I get to that I want to apologize for being MIA. Life overtook us but we are back now.

We haven't even driven Uber for two weeks and it was so nice being back at it this weekend. We met so many amazing people and had some really cool conversations.

One really cool First was we had a gentleman from Turkey. He was so friendly. We really enjoyed meeting him and I told him so in his language via Google Translate. I love that tool.

So now on to another First we had... SMH...

Today I told the story of how we have over 2,000 rides and can honestly say we never had a bad ride story for the last time.

We had our First official BAD ride. SMH... I am not going to give details like his name was Adam or that we picked him up at.... Haha... You think I would do that...lol

I will keep the story to myself though for a few reasons. One of those reasons is, no need to dwell in the past. This one moment or ride with a rude and hateful man did not come close to out weighing all the good that happened to us this weekend. Actually it just gave us even more confidence that God has us right where He wants us, serving others and sharing God's love.

The sermon today was over loving one another. We, by the Grace of God, managed to show kindness to this man in spite of all the things he was saying to us. I am thankful for the sermon today.

Pray for this man please, he is full of so much hate and anger. He surely does not know peace living in that level of unrest.

So now I must say... I can honestly say out of over 2,000 rides we have only had ONE bad ride. And I still stand by, I felt safe having Charley with me.
Had I picked him up alone.... I just thank God I didn't.

We just had another first. We picked up two different riders from two different locations and took them to the same small pool party. Only 3 attending lol.

Wow what a day. We picked up our first rocket scientist and met a young lady with the same exact name as my middle name. I have never met anyone with the same name. It was a first for her too. We bonded instantly.
