We always overlook our selves because of some responsibilities we’re having, promises to others and commitments we need to fulfill.

Somehow, did you also talked to your self?
Did you commit improvements to your self?
Did you have guts to do character developments?
Are you willing to learn?
Are you willing to do sacrifices for your self?

Drop your ego and look the reality.

This is not selfishness, these are the important things you need to PROMISE to your self. Because how can you give, if even yourself don’t have ?

1. Loyalty is a choice.
Who you stand with reflects your true values as a friend.

2. Neutrality is still a decision.
If someone hurt me and you still choose to stay close to them, it tells me you’re okay with what they did.

3. Respect matters.
If you truly respect me, you wouldn’t sit, talk, or bond with someone who disrespects or harms me.

4. Trust becomes impossible.
I can’t open up to you fully if the person who’s against me has direct access to you.

5. Boundaries are necessary.
It’s not immaturity—it’s self-protection and knowing who deserves space in your life.

6. Friendship requires alignment.
We don’t need to share the same anger, but we must share the same principles—especially respect and loyalty.

7. A friend who entertains your enemy sends a message.
If you can laugh with them, you can betray me when the opportunity comes.

A real friend chooses loyalty, protects your peace, and respects your boundaries. If someone is comfortable staying close to your enemy, they’re showing you exactly where you stand — and it’s okay to walk away.

If you’re broke, get a job.
Period.

Walang special treatment sa totoong buhay.
Walang “manifesting” pag wala ka namang ginagawa.
Walang “entrepreneur mindset” kung pati basic responsibility mo hindi mo kayang harapin.

Too many young men today think they’re above working
dahil sa social media bullsh*t
Puro kayabangan sa social media, wala sa lugar mag flex ah basta marami pang iba, pero sa totoong buhay?

Zero income.
Zero discipline.
Zero foundation.

Baka wala ding emergency fund.

Bro, real talk ah, Zero income is pathetic and unacceptable.

Hindi nakakahiya magtrabaho.
Ang nakakahiyang parte?
Yung wala ka namang ginagawa pero mataas pride mo.
Yung wala ka namang pera pero ang dami mong standards.
Yung wala ka namang nararating pero ang lakas mong magreklamo.

Kung wala kang pera right now,
wag mo gawing personality.
Gawin mong motivation.
Go make some money.
Any job.
Any hustle.
Any skill na pwede mong simulan.

Walang masama maging beginner.
Ang masama?
Yung hindi ka nagsisimula.

The world is ruthless to a broke man,
pero generous sa lalaking may disiplina.
Hindi mo kailangan maging perfect.
Kailangan mo lang maging consistent.

So kung broke ka ngayon…
ayusin mo yan.
Hindi bukas.
Hindi next month.
Ngayon.

If your goal is to be liked, don’t lead.

Because real leadership will require you to disappoint people.

You’ll have to say “no” when everyone wants you to say “yes.”

You’ll have to correct someone who’s already doing “okay” — because you know they’re capable of more.

You’ll have to enforce standards, even if it makes you look “strict,” “too much,” or “heartless.”

You’ll be misunderstood.

You’ll be talked about.

You’ll feel alone, sometimes even betrayed — especially by the ones you thought “got” you.

And when that happens, you’ll ask yourself:
“Is it worth it?”

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Leadership is not about being liked.

It’s about being clear.

It’s about being consistent.

It’s about staying anchored in your values even when the crowd shifts moods.

You’re not here to babysit emotions.

You’re here to raise people higher — even if that means making them uncomfortable.

Because growth is uncomfortable.

And if you’re the kind of leader who avoids discomfort to preserve likability…you’ll shrink the people you’re supposed to build.

So no — you don’t need to be cold or harsh.

But you need to be courageous.

Courageous enough to hold the line.

Courageous enough to be disliked — for the right reasons.

Because one day, the very people who were once frustrated with your standards…will thank you for not lowering them.
