ALERT: Gardaí in Monaghan town are seeking help to locate a red Nissan Qashqai, registration 241 MN 760. It is being driven by an elderly woman suffering from dementia, who left her home at 4.30pm today.

There is no known direction of travel. She was last seen wearing a cream cardigan and dress. She has alopecia and may be wearing a wig.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77200 or ring 999 immediately.
