Let’s go pick my mum at the airport ✈️💖. Before leaving, I had to take care of my skin because I don’t want her to meet me looking tired or stressed. We all know how mothers are, they’ll worry even when you say you’re fine.

My mom has six children, and I’m the fifth. Next year I’ll be 37 which means my mom is in her mid-80s but when you see her, you won’t believe it. This woman has sacrificed so much for me. Back in 2010, when I lost my dad, she wasn’t selling anything as she was doing her Ile Opo ritual ( we all know the Nigeria thingy ) yet she sold her gold just to support me with my UK journey. She paid my school fees, my rent, and carried me until I could stand on my own.

Whatever I am today is by Allah and my mom. She’s my rock, my prayer warrior, my number one cheerleader, the woman who made me become who I am today. 💕

Alhamdulillah, after all these years, she’s finally here with me in the UK. The kids have been keeping her busy, the house is filled with laughter, stories, and tears of joy. Truly, she deserves nothing but the best.

For my skincare, I’m using and honestly, it’s been working wonders for my face. I love my skin. it feels so smooth 🤍 And as someone currently dealing with dark eye circles, their products have been a blessing.

Spend the evening with us as a family of 6 in the UK 🇬🇧 This is typically how our evening routine goes, 80% of the time it looks like this, though sometimes it changes a little.

Once the kids are back from school, it’s wash hands → shower time. Uniforms? Absolutely no sitting on the sofa or bed in uniform, straight to the bathroom.After showers, we pray Solat, then homework, snacks, then lessons: Arabic, Math, Verbal & Non-Verbal.

Dinner prep is usually teamwork in the kitchen, sometimes it’s just me, sometimes just my husband, but mostly we work together. After dinner, we pray Maghrib & Isha, then Pray Solat, one thing we don’t joke with with we pray Surat Al Mulik then make our night Dua before bed.

Our Realistic Monday Routine 💫
Every Monday, my husband leaves for work very early, so it’s just me and the kids holding it down. Because he’s not around, I always shower first before attending to the kids. But when he is home, he handles everything and if I feel like recording, I’ll just do that, and if not, I honestly just sleep in until I wake up 😅.

I had to share this without audio because honestly, This is exactly how our Mondays look.

If there’s one thing I’m truly grateful for, it’s to my dear Allah for making my motherhood journey easier through my children. They’re always so helpful, and when it comes to Islam, apart from me trying my best, they also put in their own effort and that means so much to me. My heart couldn’t be happier 🤍

So yes, this is what Monday mornings look like when it’s just us without my husband.

Being a size 16-18 babe (plus size), it’s challenging to find the perfect fit, but I never let that discourage me. Honestly, dressing modestly is tough for us curvy ladies, but we always manage to pull it off. It might be surprising that I wear size 16-18 trousers and dresses (Large & X-Large). I can squeeze into some size 16 jeans, but for modesty, I opt for size 18. Nonetheless, modest fashion is stunning, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I always put effort into my outfits, so when I’m out with my friends, my attire speaks for itself without me having to say anything. Do you get it? But if you don’t, forget about it 😉

✨ Alhamdulillah for today 🤍 The first day in their new school 🤩 Laylah officially starts her first year, after being in nursery as a late born and she’s super excited. Ahmad begins his final year of primary school, such a big milestone 🥹, and Jamal is already saying he can’t wait to meet his new friends and Imran is super excited too,

Date night gone wrong or right? 😂
We dressed up, ate like we didn’t see the price of the food before ordering, gisted nonstop… then boom, the bill landed and it was giving luxury lifestyle we never signed up for 🤯. Don’t worry, we balanced the books by washing plates and sweeping the floor before they let us escape 🧹🍽️😂
Jokes apart, it was truly a beautiful night spent with my two gorgeous and supportive sisters-in-law ❤️✨.
